Food was absolutely amazing! Got the bacon cheddar burger so delicious my mom got the gyro plate nice and fresh..our server was awesome! Village Square never disappoints. The manager there was so nice.
We went here for a nice late lunch. Wait staff was amazing. Most of food was delicious, the steak she got was very burnt outside. She asked for medium rare. I have been here several times and everything was fabulous. Today was an exception on the steak. We will try again, hope the steak is better next time.

I didn’t really enjoy the food here. The only thing that I liked was the garlic bread and the popcorn. Lol. I really thought that the corn was sweet but it was bland, not really good at all.The presentation of salad was not appetizing. The fries was not good also, like no taste. The calamari was salty. Way too overpriced for something not that good.
Went on a Friday night, around 5:30, for an event. The parking lot wasn't full, they didn't look that busy and the inside atmosphere was cozy. The hostess greeted my party with a smile, and the server was polite. Then the drinks came out... The zombies tasted like a fruity orange juice and Mai Tai's we couldn't even stomach. It tasted like liquid vomit.
And this is where the server started being impolite.... We waved her down with a smile and a wave while making eye contact (nothing crazy), she nodded and held up one finger. Turned around and continued her conversation at the bar giggling with the male barter. When one of us went up there, and told her the problems with the drinks, she said they were very busy. Letting that go, we ordered cokes and teas with a Calamari appetizer and our meals. The calamari came out under cooked!!! Also over half of it was peppers and onions deep fried, and they were soggy. Then one guest got their creamy chicken soup, it tasted like pure lemon juice. We didn't want to take any chances of getting food poisoning, so again we waved down the waitress. She rolled her eyes and then came over asking what we wanted... We told her to cancel our orders and we wanted the check. She had the nerve to say whatever. Luckily she got the manager, we explained about the drinks, the calamari, and the soup. Asked for the check again, the manager then said this is how all the Village Squires are... We told her this is not how the one in Crystal Lake is.
End of story: We got our order cancelled, the manager said don't worry about paying. We even stuck around for 10 minutes to make sure it wasn't a trick.
We have been there twice now.
Service was excellent both times.
Great Medieval style atmosphere.
Got the beer battered cod dinner once and the Ribs /chicken tenders once they were all delicious. Also had skins as an app and the french onion soup is the best i have ever had. The onions literally melt in your mouth!
I love the Rum flight-darling little glasses with 4 different tropical rum drinks. Almost got 2!
We will be coming again frequently as we look forward to trying everything on the menu!
Food was very good. Saganaki, chicken lemon rice and French onion soup. Beef sandwich with cheese and steak fries. All fabulous! Sit at booth that over looks bar area. Nice! Small but quaint.
Son loves coming here for the popcorn and knight pictures. Very picky eat and will happily eat there chicken strips. The specialty drinks are all delicious and the food is always good. Service is always good too. Whole family always enjoys coming here!
