I visited the public gathering area for their Wednesday evening free concert. Parking is always a little tough, there is a lot of overflow parking. Wear comfy walking shoes. The set-up for their music is always great. Arrive early, with your own seat, to have options.
This place is great for families. Very cool area built in a gated community. Shopping, food, and activities. The night we went they also had a cover band playing oldies which the kids loved.
I struggled giving this a 4 star but chose to as it was advertised to be more than I found it. There are a lot of restaurants and bars (great for 21+) and lots of family friendly activities (great for 13 and under) but not a lot for those in between. Most of the planned events are best for littler kids. Great place if you have a young family or a group of adults. Definitely 5-star if that is your group.
We did stick around for the Tuesday fireworks and dancing, which took a bit of effort once they played Baby Shark song for the littles. Good fireworks display and the DJ did well throwing in some mixed music.
One of our favorite places to hang out! There is so much to do here. Great restaurants and bay views and lots of stuff for kids to do. It's also very dog friendly.
The Effie hotel is perfectly situated next to excellent walking, shopping, drinking, and dining. The perfect place for a relaxing vacation & to meet new friends throughout the night.
I was pretty underwhelmed from the hype of this location. It’s in a nice location, but the food is pretty mediocre at best and the shops are filled with any touristic type purchases. There are a lot of kid friendly activities, which makes it good for families.

Great place to visit for a bite to eat or if you are just looking to grab ice cream with your kids. Also has activities for kids including an arcade.
