It was quaint and interesting with a LOT of stuff everywhere. Busy and popular with cyclists. Nice cup of tea surrounded by memorabilia.
Good value for money and nicely laid out old fashioned tablets and chairs etc..
Visited here whilst on a walk along the canal. OK tea room at the Heritage railway but you have to buy a train or platform ticket to use it. Good drinks and cake selection but hot food was dissapointing.
Had a beautiful bacon cob at the Shackerstone station tea rooms, very relaxing visit which is the norm for this establishment as visited on numerous occasions as this heritage railway is less than 5 miles from home
A lovely step back in time to how stations and trains used to be and within the lovely station is the Victorian tea room. A really authentic setting and at the time of writing, selling deliious take away food and drinks.
There is seating outside and tables can be reserved.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great place to stop for a cuppa with a slice of cake or a warm snack, freshly made cakes sandwiches, sit down relax enjoy the food and atmosphere of the Victorian beauty
A step back in time, atmosphere great. Plenty of Victoriana to gaze at while eating. Open fire & good selection of hot & cold food.
