Lovely quaint public house with lovely scenic views over the River Tamar also has an outside seating area good friendly customer service the Union Inn also has live music on certain nights during the week
Lovely old school pub with a really good selection of real ale and cider, nice relaxed atmosphere in side , great views over the river
Don't be put off by the outside. Inside is a locals pub where people meet, catch up, drink, etc what you would expect from a pub! Interesting interior with pictures of the area through the ages. If you fancy a pint under the Tamar bridge this is the place.
Saw this place from the other side of the river. How can you miss the Flag. Great little place, could use a little injection of money here and there but I wouldn't want to spoil what they have. Very quirky just how I like them and by the water too. Friendly staff and friendly after work locals at the bar. Outside seating facing the river.. what more coukd you ask foe.. Just wish I could have been there for a live music night.
The best pub near Plymouth to see live music. They even get Bastille to play their on occasions ????
Proper spit n sawdust pub. It's attraction for us is the great live music & real ale & fancy ciders, not forgetting the position.....what a view
Fabulous pub. Exactly how a pub should be. Friendly service, decent beers. The guest ale is always an absolute bargain and the atmosphere is always great. Super view of the river outside too. If you want polished, modern and generic, don't go here. If you love a traditional pub, this is your place.
I also love that they don't take cards. And that children are not allowed in. This is a pub for pub people. If you don't like it, hit a 'spoons.

Went there for a wake today, lady serving was miserable, rude & unwelcoming which is not what you want for a wake….drinks were cheap though
