New to the area popped in and was welcome by nice friendly hosts unfortunately the larger wasn't on but they had cans of the same on draught and was perfectly fine couldn't complain in the slightest sat by the fire lovely and warm all in all good little pub ????
£10.50 for 2 pints of larger and a j20
Lovely country pub with quality people. I would highly recommend stopping in for a bit of Mrs. Brown's Boys and a pint or two. Dog friendly with a great atmosphere. Quality Establishment..
Went for a quiet drink on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and our newborn. Didn't get through the front door before the barman told us they have no license for children and we couldnt come in. Seemed pretty rude and pretentious. Would recommend the Plough or Tally Ho up the road instead.
Fine example of hospitality shown during my visit. Hope I will be in the area again to experience the same welcome and well kept ales.
It's great to have the Turner Arms open again ...even if I did lose at darts 10 - 8...Spitfire was excellent
Welcomed soon as we walked in. Accepted like a regular straight away by Mary and Micheal.
