Found this place tucked away behind the arch in Bridgnorth. Arrived at 3.30pm & we had the turkey for Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic and we were not rushed as they serve until 4pm. We left about 4.45pm. Very friendly owner. The menu in the window could do with being more prominent as the restaurant is upstairs and more casual seating is downstairs. An independent business with fabulous food, I would definitely recommend that you look out for The Tudor Room.
Steve and Norma are an amazing couple who make you feel so welcome and the food is the best in town. We will be sorry to see them go in December but they both deserve a well earned retirement. Bless you both.
This is a family run restaurant, where they serve honest, home cooked food, at very reasonable prices, and the portions are substantial, you won't leave feeling hungry. Great cosy atmosphere, and very efficient and friendly staff. I especially recommend their Sunday roasts, a real treat, just like home cooked too.
Family run and cosy restaurant. No access for disabled as it is in a historic building and up a flight of stairs. Good range of wines and some bottled beers. Menu is small but interesting choices and generous portions of home made food and fresh vegetables. Does good trade at lunchtimes and will stay open in the evening if you reserve a table for a group. No parking but there are nearby car parks and a small amount of on street parking. The entrance is right by the Northgate arch and is easy to miss.
Last minute Monday lunch. Roast pork dinner. I had the small diner which was ample for me. The pork was a little dry but the vegetables were well cooked and ln the whole I enjoyed my meal.

Local greasy spoon. Everyone knows each other. Food is good and cheap, but very basic. There's only instant coffee!!!! So avoid if you are looking for a decent cup.
