Definitely want to make a reservation! We made ours and even then the place was packed. It's small but has a eclectic and warm vibe to the place.
The staff was friendly but again, it's a busy place. The food was decent. I liked the biscuit and gravy but the biscuit became dense very quick as it cooled. The tator tots were pretty salty and overly crunchy but the sausage was spicy and cooked perfectly. House fries were also alittle under and salty. Loved the Banana Nut pancakes and bacon (who doesnt love bacon)!
I can see the appeal of the place and definitely a nice locally owned business to visit from time to time.
If you want great food you have to look for the small, tucked away places with the cool names. The Tipsy Biscuit checks off all the boxes. Friendly, welcoming staff. Great atmosphere. And the food is off the charts! Their biscuits and gravy were on point.
This cozy cafe draws you in as you walk in the door. It’s quaint with a humming bustle of guests, waitstaff and kitchen.
The menu offers a great variety of options from classic egg dishes, multiple Eggs Benedict choices, sweet items and dishes like chicken and waffles.
I had the Spiked Iced Horchata- cinnamon, horchata, and rum all mixed together wonderfully. I also had the corned beef hash. This came out with two perfectly over easy eggs on top of potatoes and some really good brisket! And a great biscuit on the side. ????????????
My wife really liked her Bellini, eggs, and biscuit.
Prices are reasonable. While I walked away full, it’s not your typical cafe with the too large portions. But they really do make up in quality.
Great local breakfast place with amazing food. We went right when they opened and there were no less than 15 people standing outside waiting. They do take reservations if you call ahead so highly recommend if you can't be there first thing or you may have a long wait, it's a small cozy place. Had delicious homemade biscuits and bacon gravy with home fries, we'll definitely be back.
Our nurse suggested the chicken and be waffles but failed to tell us they didn't open until 9am. With our c section scheduled for 930 I placed an order, got it and back to the hospital in 10 minutes. Only to find out that our C-section was cancelled and the baby had moved to the proper position! So we were able to share breakfast together!
Everything was delicious except for the tots as the potato option for brunch. The wait is long but calling ahead and reservations are available up fix it problem. Wish more places offered call ahead. Staff was great. All the other food was phenomenal. It all came out quickly too. $48 for 3 meals with an alcoholic drink.
Had the chicken and waffles, sweet. First time trying chicken and waffles. They were delicious ????! Tasted some of their biscuits and gravy and they are very tasty as well! Was my first time being here and would definitely go back and recommend to anyone!!
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation! It was our first time and even with a reservation there was a little bit of a wait for us. Its 100% worth it, just maybe be prepared for it.
They must have a routine worked out because the servers were constantly making their rounds like clockwork. I don't think I saw one beverage go empty in the whole restaurant. Every employee stopped by to check on us and gave exemplary service to each table. It was really impressive to watch.
The food is out of this world! They're not lying when they say they have the best biscuits and gravy! The homemade biscuits are so thick but still fluffy on the inside and have a good crisp on the outside. Topped with the smoked bacon gravy this dish really set the bar high! The crisp of the potatoes made them just the right amount of firm on the outside while the inside was soft and steamy.
The breakfast burrito was delicious! We thought it could be spicy because of the jalapeno, but they blended it well into the chorizo giving it a nice little zing. The potato cakes were interesting, in the best way! Didn't know what they were on the outside, but bit in to find shredded hashbrowns! Very tasty!!
You can tell with every bite and by looking around how much effort time and love these folks put in to making sure their guests are happy. It was a great time for us. Looking forward to having the opportunity to return!
