Small family owned restaurant with the friendliest staff I've met yet in Georgia. Food is top notch and tastes as good as it looks, I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast anytime you're in Statesboro.
The wait time wasn’t that bad it was only a 40 min wait but the food was disappointing I paid damn near 50 dollars for cheese that didn’t even melt. I ordered the Cajun bowl and only got three pieces of shrimp. I also ordered salmon and grits and I had to hunt for my fish. First time coming there and probably my last.
A small hole in the wall that you shouldn’t miss. The staff are extremely kind and the food is absolutely delicious. If you want a classic southern breakfast, then this is the place to go too.
This place is just perfect. The food was amazing, and the lady behind the counter was the absolute sweetest. I had friends come in from out of town, and we were looking for a breakfast spot. I am so happy to have found this place. The food is delicious, and the French toast was divine! So fluffy!. I can't wait to come back and eat here again. Also, they have a new white chocolate mocha coffee that is simply delicious. I will take that drink over Starbucks any day. 10/10.
I've wanted to try this place but waking up early like a functioning adult is a lot to ask! Anyway I finally went today and was pleasantly surprised.
It's a little hole in the wall, but feels welcoming and cared for. It seems to be a family run restaurant but I cannot say for sure. The kind lady who was cooking said good morning to everyone in the restaurant the moment she came out of the kitchen. I suspect she is the owner?
I had the french toast plate with a hot coffee and it was great! In hindsight I should have gotten a less basic order as they sell things like different kinds of lemonade, flavored ice coffee, salmon etc. For next time! Thanks

Home cooked breakfast with a taste you won’t find anywhere else! The French toast and shrimp and grit bowls are a favorite ❤️
NOT A SIT-DOWN RESTAURANT. If you want very - and I mean very - simple breakfast food to-go, that is what they seem to do best. The staff was friendly, but service was pretty slow. There are a couple of tiny booths to sit in, both of which are kind of falling apart. Absolutely everything is served in cheap Styrofoam or plastic containers with plastic utensils. I'm pretty sure the coffee I ordered was instant coffee. The menu was extremely limited (basically just grits, scrambled eggs, bacon and French toast) but the food was tasty. Unfortunately not enough to make up for the overall lackluster experience of the place.
