We’ve eaten here a couple of times since they changed up the menu. Both times the food has been really good. Today we had the patty melt and the sunset burger. Yummy! Even the fries were especially tasty!
Once I found out that the bikers planned a drive around meeting up and dining here, I thought it must be good.
I was not disappointed. I had the wings and onion rings. The wings were garnished with chives and I was able to choose my sauces. The onion rings were battered like the onion blossom or like a tempura and were light and not at all greasy. Can't beat the atmosphere when all your windows face out onto the river.
I have friends coming in from NY this summer and I will definitely be meeting them at the Sunset Grill so they can see our beautiful farms and natural scenery as well as get a good meal.
We love it here! The food is great, the atmosphere is casual and cozy, and Makayla is always so upbeat and makes us feel like family. We look forward to sitting outside soon!
Friendly service, homemade food. I absolutely loved the gravy. The Reuben was good just needed a bit more sauce and our server was happy to accommodate. My fiancé had the western omelette and ate every bite. Portions are huge. Be prepared to leave full and with leftovers! We did have to wait a while on our food… good food takes time. I think maybe they had to pop more biscuits in the oven. But I’m not complaining because the food was fresh and hot!
Stayed at the Belterra & on our way home we decided to try out this place. Our server made us feel so welcomed and like were part of her family. It was still around breakfast time, pancakes 11/10. My review couldn't possibly give the place justice. Just absolutely phenomenal.
Sept 2023: My first time here. It is a clean looking place. Friendly service. Large selection of food. The fried pickles (can't remember the cutesy name of them) were tasty! The country fried steak & Bourbon chicken were delicious. I absolutely want to come back & order something completely different just to try out the whole menu... everything sounds fantastic.
Had another great lunch today. I had a burger that was really good. Another guy had the spicy chicken sandwich and he said it was awesome. But one guy had the country fried steak and let's just say I will be getting it next time!
Cool little place to eat. The food was pretty good and the service was also good. Will definitely go back.
I’ve left a review recently and to be honest, I’m not even the type of person that ever leaves reviews. I felt the need to add another for anyone that might be wondering about this place. Not only are the servers absolutely awesome especially Makayla and Brittany King but the clientele that I’ve met since moving to the area have been amazing. Each time I come here I meet different people and they are just good down home people and always interested in chatting it up with you and always make you feel welcomed. I’ve met the owner, Eric, a few times and is always interested in knowing how your experience was each time you come in. The food is great and they are super accommodating here!!
