Awful dentist!
I tried to get an emergency appointment with the female dentist, and because the wait was too long I asked to see someone else to get me in quicker, later on down the line I tried to get another appointment and the dentist wouldn’t book me in with her as I “didn’t want to see her” so she refused me as a patient… pathetic.
Takes 2 weeks to be seen for an emergency, what kind of a joke is that?
I missed an appointment, I couldn’t cancel it the day before as there phone lines weren’t working.
They were skeptical about seeing me for my emergency appointment however they did, and I booked back in for treatment which was in over a months time for them to ring me randomly a week later and told me to find a new dentist because I missed an appointment. Dentist was called “Cal” apparently.
Luckily I already had an appointment somewhere else, because they’re so useless!
They refused to see me saying i had missed loads of appointments when this was never the case and tried to explain to them this was never the case . They said they would see my children but i am no longer welcome there. I will no longer have any of my family at this surgery if this is how they treat their patients. Will be registering elsewhere. And to leave a further review the lady dentist there is quite heavy handed and been quite rough with me when i have been there and i’ve refused to see her on numerous occasions.
I have just read so many reviews, good and bad, I have been a patient for many years under Lily, she has been a diamond, I have a few issues and she has always respected my needs, the reception staff, in the past left a bit to be desired but they seem okay now, doesn't seem to be the most professional of dentists, but as long as Lily is there, I will continue to keep going, thank you
The Station Dental Practice
There is not dentist last longer at the Practice because doctors are not happy. Also the stuff who works there are rude such as and have no experience, however, the receptionist is unprofessional regardless their attitude towards the patient , they weren’t friendly at all.
I had an abscess and they wouldn't arrange an appointment for me because my dentist has left the practice. They would only offer an emergency appointment, gave me antibiotics and that was it. Clearly I needed further treatment but couldn't get a further appointment so had to go to a private practice instead. I am very fortunate to be able to afford this but I hate to think the stress this must cause for those who can't afford it. I also can't directly book an appointment for my 2 year old son - had to wait on a call back which came a week later than they said it would. When I did eventually get him an appointment, I was told on arrival that it had been cancelled. They hadn't thought to phone or text to tell me it was cancelled. I will now be going to a private practice with my son as well as I am sick of being messed around by this practice.
I have been coming to this dental practice for many years (as I used to work just down the road), I even continued to go here after I no longer worked nearby. However, they’ve gone completely downhill in the last 12 months, I know they’ve changed ownership fairly recently, but that shouldn’t mean I get a worser service (after all, I pay for my NHS treatment!).
I have recently realised they didn’t ask me back for my 6 month check up (10 months since my last), they texted me to book in my routine appointment only to be told my dentist wasn’t back until October and they’ll call me to book one in. Why send me a text, then not allow me to book an appointment in!? When querying seeing another dentist, I was told outright no as they were short staffed! I have just signed up for a new dentist just around the corner from my house.
I would not recommend them to anyone based on my recent experience with Station Dental Practice
Been coming here about 5 years and seen 6 seperate dentists. You have to ask yourself why so many dentists keep leaving. Had so may bad experiences at this practice I've lost count.
The last straw came when I needed an emergencey appointment, I was in a lot of pain but told I would have to wait 2 months! Reception staff have zero compassion. Contacted another dentist who saw me the very next day and removed the tooth. Needless to say I have left this practice.
Appointment moved without asking if I could attend new time. Called and cancelled new appointment. Phone call back from practice to give me a appointment 15 minutes earlier than original appointment, turn up and it's been cancelled. No idea what is going on. Emailed a complaint, waiting to hear back. A week later and still no response.
