Wow! This place was great! fries were some of the best. this was the first time I had a hamburger with tarter sauce, it was delicious, they have more traditional burgers also. the fried mushrooms were fantastic. Can't wait to go back next time I am in town

Old timey diner with diner food, what's not to like. Great fries. The malt was more like a Wendy's frosty. Good place to stretch your legs especially if you don't like chain restaurants
The Spot has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I've been coming here since I was a little girl eating my fav onion rings. I also worked here when I was 14 making the onion rings in the lower floor. I like that it's located downtown where you can sit on one of the stool seats and watch the traffic or the people just walking by enjoying their day. I love the decor and the jukebox that's inside. I also like how you can see your food being made and that it's made right there when you order it. The Spot is known for their pies. And let's not forget the chili and tenderloin. They also have carryout parking located in the back of the restaurant where you can enjoy your meal right there in your car. That's a convenience I like in case my hair isn't done and don't wanna go inside lol The Spot has been here for years and it's definitely a place you should try if you have never been here. Children love it also ???? and let's not forget President Bush that's visited here also.
Great atmosphere, retro diner with authentic feel. I had the Court street burger with sweet potato fries. Also had the pecan cream pie. Burger was delicious, but make sure you ask for condiments, I would recommend the bbq sauce. Great value for the price you pay. Will visit again
This was our first visit. We walked to counter to order then sat to have number called. The young girl taking our order was very kind and helpful. You help yourself to drinks. Burgers served hot and fresh. Pies were wonderful. The fries and onion rings were cold. Onion rings were not rings, they were smashed and pre burnt. I returned to counter and asked for hot fries and onion rings I watched as he picked up other fries and onion rings with hands and tossed them back into fryer. When he called me back to counter the onion rings looked burnt and smashed again. I told him I wasn't interested in recooked onion rings that were smashed. He made no apologies. Not a good first trip.
First time eating here. I have always heard good things but definitely was not impressed. I ordered the tenderloin combo and it had as much mustard as it did tenderloin. I think I used about 10 napkins because it was so messy. My husband ordered onion rings with his meal and they were undercooked and limp. You could tell by looking at them they were not done. Of the 5 people I seen in the kitchen, only 2 were wearing gloves and 2 of them kept popping food in their mouths while they were working. I rarely give reviews but this experience did not live up to the hype I have always heard.
Delicious old school burger joint at a great value. Don't forget the awesome pie before you leave!
