I don't know if they just had a bad batch in but I just had the worst ice cream ever and I've had a lot of ice cream. The texture was extremely gritty and the flavour, even though discernable, was weak. I didn't know that you could get ice cream so wrong.
Great ice creams and friendly staff. Nice chairs outside to sit and watch the world go by ????
Not the best food wise I'm afraid, only 2 stars, however, the staff are lovely and it's a spot to sit.
For a cafe located in one of the saddest places on earth surrounded by the grey hairs waiting quietly for death to beckon them onward, not sure whether to pre prepare for the warmer option ... this cafe is I guess a good fit. OK, joking aside the ice-cream was good and the lady serving it friendly ... but when you think of what £9 will buy you ... its far more than 2 toasties on far nicer beaches on other shores. Though ... I guess they aren't responsible for the geriatric scenery.
Staying on the Esplanade in Seaton during our week's holiday the Spot On was an ideal choice for ice creams we managed to try a number of the different flavours very nice Well worth a visit
The gentleman who works here (bald with glasses) here is very obnoxious and rude, if your a dog owner you will probably get shouted at or belittled as i watched him do today to some poor person on the beach, which alarmed quite a few families. Not very nice man at all. Food is so so, but there are some much nicer, cheaper and friendlier bars further along.
Lovely snack shack on the beach. Friendly staff with a fair range of choices although basic
typical seaside tea hut, the ice cream was lovely they had some very different flavours, we thought it was a shame they only had basic cones.
We always use this hut when we visit.
