The two lovely waiters there were great and offered me a late hour seat when I was in a rush. I will be back. I had a pizza combo and it was fresh and delicious. Although some meals use newspaper, I feel this is a good choice as it does not waste resources. What I want to emphasize here is that they did not put the newspaper in direct contact with the food, which is a good choice.

A good traditional long term family run Chippy
Chips were decent, fish cooked from fresh was totally overdone, with batter so heavily fried it was crumbling- guy cooking it seemed oblivious, I was the only customer. Staff were friendly though. Not sure if it's changed hands recently or if this was the auxiliary team, but I don't think I'll be risking it again.
Went in and ordered food. Dad got a Pizza Meal and ASKED if it came with chips, woman working gave us attitude while saying yes. went home and NO CHIPS in the box. Also got chips and curry and asked for the sauce to be poured onto the chips because last time they gave us a tub on the side and gave us an extra bag of chips we didn’t ask for and charged us for it. yet again got attitude as the woman working said we always do that. come home and no curry sauce. the woman working there have a bad attitude always huffing and puffing rolling their eyes like they don’t want to be there. don’t recommend
