This was a motorcycle trip from route 550 to Pueblo, CO.
Location: 4/5: Not to busy of an area, just off route 160. Easy off, easy on. All gravel parking, not conducive to motorcycle parking.
Ambiance: 1/5: Not much of an atmosphere, as all eating is outside under a medium size carport, sitting on old and wobbly picnic tables. No bathroom. Limited seating.
Value for $$: 1/5: For the quality of food, $14 for a cheeseburger was disgraceful, and $12 for tacos was painful.
Service: 5/5: We had an young lady on her first day on the job trying very hard to get our order right. She was kind, sweet, and apologetic for her slow speed and mistakes. Unfortunately, our order still came out wrong, which was fixed with no argument or additional charge.
Cuisine: 0/5: Burgers were well, well done, and cold. After my son's first bite, I piled on the condiments to compensate for deficits. Honestly, the worst hamburger I have ever had. While my daughter was not excited about the tacos, she also was not put-off by them either. The fries and onion rings were cold!, tasteless!, and a poor excuse for onion rings and fries. Nothing about our meal warranted a second try. ***We did not try the ice cream. Other customers that we talk with said to try the ice cream. Maybe this place is a malt shoppe and not a hamburger or taco shop for a reason.

Stopped to get the kids a treat while in the area. Absolutely loved the multiple things we got... fruity pebbles avalanche, butterscotch malt... went the next two days! The cinnamon crunch avalanche, oreo avalanche, peach malt, and more. You MUST treat yourself! Enjoy!!
The food was pretty alright I got the bacon cheeseburger basket and decided to get extra crispy fries, which probably was a mistake because they are shoe string fries. The mushroom Swiss Burger was similar, the burgers could benefit from a little seasoning before cooking.
Absolutely love this place!! AMAZING food and the service is out of this world!! All the girls are so sweet, friendly and always smiling…highly recommend, definitely a must try if you love great food…Look at my pretty French Dip!!
Unfortunately, they no longer have vegetarian options or the variety of burgers that were posted. The gluten free option was a burger with no bun. The food was good and the fries had some good seasoning although there was maybe too much seasoning on the fries. The malts were good. Nice outdoor seating. Parking available for large vehicles.
Best burger I’ve had in a long time. The fries were perfect good and crispy. The malt tasted like one from my childhood!. We will definitely be back!
I wasn’t expecting much but WOW I got way more than I bargained for. This was a pit stop after several hours driving from denver. And I gotta say it was the best burger I’ve had in a WHILE, Denver included. Usually when a place offers a double / extra patty option I assume that means thin patties. But no. These are thick af Half pounders, of quality lean beef, with real cheddar cheese. I thought there was no way I could eat it all, but then it was so delicious I did. If you’re debating this place, 100% try it! Top notch h burgers. The server was really sweet too!
Unfortunately a burger and fries took over an hour to come out. As a restaurant worker myself I understand holiday weekends can get busy but this was too long from a burger shack or warn patrons of the wait … disappointing won’t be back
