Liked: Pitches are great, people are lovely and facilities are lovely and clean.
There's a bar with a good pint and pool table. Frank the bar man is great fun and very welcoming.
Disliked: Womens toilet needs the lock on door fixing I have marked down one for this but I did raise it and they said it will be fixed.
Liked: Loved everything, a very very clean and quiet site. I don't have a bad word to say about it. It's a friendly site where u feel at ease. It was our first time in our new caravan and just loved it. Bar was lovely and so comforting

Liked: Lovely tranquil site central to plenty of different locations. Well maintained and run by great people. Was skeptical as normally book sites with more things to do but actually had a lovely time.
Liked: Grounds are kept super tidy. Location - a good place to base yourself. Shower and toilet well kept, clean (unless you happened to follow someone in who quite clearly doesn’t understand leaving things how you find them!)
Nice site if you’re completely independent in your set up.

Disliked: Not a set up for a Campervan. No pot wash facilities or anywhere to empty grey waste (or that we could find) The toilet doors do not lock - either male or female (I see this has been mentioned before - several times) Cash only bar (personally we don’t carry cash - so missed out on an impromptu drink or 2)
Only 1 bin on site - and again sadly others insisted on overfilling it so it was spilling over (note we took our rubbish with us so as not to add to the rubbish pile). It was cleared (placed behind a wall) I don’t wish to be negative because it was fine - it I hope the comments are taken on board to help improve the experience.
I am extremely disappointed with my stay here.
The location is lovely and the hot tub was nice
The place looked clean until we saw the bed
The bedding was so old it was crusty and Bobbly the mattress sank in the middle I felt like I was in hell
We had to leave a night early because the bed was unbearable to sleep in
Personally I think when you spend money to stay away you automatically expect that you’re paying for that amazing night sleep in a big comfy bed
It would be such a lovely place if it was a little bit updated and new mattresses and bedding
I’m massively disappointed that I spent a lot of money for 2 night and could only bare 1
When complained to the owner he believes the bed is down to personal preference however I can assure you that NOBODY would like to sleep in that bed where your feet are higher than your head and you can barely moved because you just sink in the middle.
Massively massively disappointing and I would not recommend as the owner just takes your money and doesn’t care about the welfare of the customers.
Liked: Clean, secure, well maintained site with electric, water and waste on the pitch. Lovely little park and bar. Toilets clean. Staff friendly. Great location.
Disliked: Paying extra for awning
Arrived at Chalet 1 for 15:00 on Saturday and hot tub was cold. Our booking was Saturday to Monday, however we were not advised the hot tub would be emptied and cleaned on Saturday morning, very disappointed as this was a main feature of our stay. The site is quite isolated with a cash only bar as the main feature.
Liked: Very clean, well kept site with excellent facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Each pitch has its own water supply and toilet emptying point. There’s a lovely little bar on site too. Many places to visit nearby.
Disliked: Nothing. It’s our 3rd visit this year.
