Best experience we had in the UK. The owner and patrons make you feel like family and are so kind and helpful. We randomly stumbled upon this pub and Gary the owner made us feel like royal locals. He was so welcoming and introduced us to everyone. By the end of the night we felt like family. Everyone in there talked to us and we’re so amazing. This incredibly nice lady in there even bought us a soda for the next morning so we could try it. We will definitely come back to Beith just to visit this pub!

Was on the way from largs to Paisley when I got caught short for a pee and had to get off the bus, the driver told me that there was a pub just round the corner, it turned out to be the smugglers tavern, what a great wee pub, the staff and locals are so friendly, I just wish I'd had more time to spend in there, definitely highly recommended.
I only went there to hear a music. Tuesday night from 7-9.
Staff very friendly. Good drink prices. Good atmosphere. Star off as music too loud.
Brilliant atmosphere in here. Only went in for one drink and stayed the whole evening. The new owner Gary is so welcoming and really takes the time to get to know anyone who visits. We will return.
An enjoyable experience from a ' local ' pub ! Very friendly , approachable & professional staff , that I have to give it a 5* rating . Even if this was my first & only experience of this establishment I would have to recommend it plus it has all the sports channels on TV ????
Were in picturesque Beith for Hogmany and escaped the kids for a sneaky pint and headed here. Great, proper pub. Rather snazzy interior, loved the Toby jugs too. Will be back when next in town.
