Came on a Thursday noon without reservation and was seated immediately. Very delicious pasta and mac and cheese. So filling… would come back! On the pricey side but better pasta than many other restaurants in the city.
I Love the food here and the service was amazing. Our waitress Sofia was so kind to us. She kept making sure that everything was okay and she was so fast with the food. The smith burger and the vanilla ice cream was amazing and would totally recommend it. I also love the Photo Booth downstairs in the bathroom. So the next time your hungry you should come here it would be worth it trust me.
Amazing experience!
The food, especially the ranchero scramble, was top-notch. They kindly served us tap water, both sparkling and still, without us asking. And they even refilled our black coffee for free after we finished.
Great for kids too, with a fun menu and games like tic-tac-toe and crossword puzzles. And don't forget to try their pancakes – they're a must!
I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting NYC!
This review is extremely long overdue. I had the absolute best experience here ever thanks to our waitress Michelle! She was the absolute sweetest and best waiter I have ever had and the entire table agreed. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. I will definitely come back here the next time I’m in town. Hopefully she still works there as this experience was about 9 months ago. The food and ambiance were also great. Overall 10/10!!
This place was really good ! Steak and fries was great and so was the mac and cheese ! Had a sundae for dessert and it also was very good ! The place it self is nice and clean with a soft ambiance ! The staff was great and friendly! I will definitely be returning often !
Multiple location throughout New York City ????️. Consistent quality of American food. The tomato ???? soup with cheese and a base of croutons, brought you back to your childhood. The smashed potatoes ???? were addicting. Super fresh seafood… we didn’t have a reservation but there’s always seating at the bar and communal tables. Fast service with attentive staff.
I recently visited The Smith and was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I highly recommend the steak frites and the mac and cheese.

But what really stood out to me were the bathrooms. They were immaculate and beautifully designed. The attention to detail was impressive, from the elegant fixtures to the luxurious hand soap. I felt like I was in a five-star hotel bathroom. I would definitely recommend The Smith to anyone looking for a great dining experience with amazing bathrooms.

The waitress recommended delicious oyster’s. The food was amazing. The ambiance perfect. This place wasn’t an option, however. The service across the street at mamazul was so terrible I canceled my order and walked out. If you want to get great service, great food and great drinks. Please choose this place.
