We have ordered crabs from the Shanty almost every week this summer. The sizing can be a little smaller than you would expect but after trying crabs from other places, we keep coming back. These are the sweetest, most delicious crabs I've ever had! They have great combos if you want more than just crabs and the staff are so friendly. When we get a 1/2 bushel we can't even close the box it is packed so full!! Highly recommend them!
Bad customer service overcooked improperly cleaned and SMALL "number 1" males. Don't waste your time or money.
I don’t normally give reviews but I just have to give Shanty’s their props. I first wanna praise their customer service. EVERY TIME I go in there, I’m greeted with a warm smile and conversation from the owner down to her staff. It’s feels like the whole place is giving me a big bear hug! LOL! Then there’s the food. I pass by 2-3 other seafood places to get to Shanty’s. Everything is so fresh, well prepared and delicious. And their crabs are reasonably priced. I don’t feel like I’m being price gouged like other places. So I will always frequent Shanty’s. Thanks guys for being the best in the area!
Staff was very friendly but 1 out of the 2 dozen we bought were practically empty, so kids ate but not the mother's they were bought for on Mother's day. Said they were mediums and were barely legal, complete waste of money.
Got our first crabs of the year. They were awesome!! Ful and delicious????
Needed a bushel of crabs to celebrate my Dad’s 80th Birthday. Shanty Seafood came through as promised. Crabs were delicious will be back.
We got crabs Sunday and were not disappointed! We got a half bushel of mediums and the box was busting at the seams. The crabs were tasty and full of meat. Not only did out family have dinner, but I was also able to use the remaining picked meat to make 12 crabcakes for the freezer!

Before I comment about the food I’d like to first leave a compliment about the excellent customer service the Shanty Seafood provides. They are always so friendly on the phone and in person! That’s a big deal for me! We know each other by first name and there’s nothing better than having a personal relationship. The crabs and shrimp are always perfect and they always know what we personally like to order. I love, love, love, the Shanty Seaford!
