Had amazing scallops and salad, my partner had roll with 3 scallops and stornoway black pudding. Staff so friendly and cheery, added bonus was the sun shining ???? all the scallops are hand dived by Dave who's been there for over 30 years and couldn't be fresher. The scallop shack is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Payments are by the honesty box in shed and scallops with price are in the fridge. Fantastic! Couldn't recommend it high enough. ????????

Buy from the always open shop or better still catch the Uig Seafood Cafe (next door to the shack) open and enjoy the joys of excellent seafood.

Found by chance driving around. Very friendly owner and great scallops, oysters etc. If not attended you can pick up from fridge, and pay using the honesty box. Highly recommended!
The scallops from here were fantastic, so fresh! The cafe was unfortunately closed today but we got a box of scallops at the collection point. Couldn't visit the western isles without trying some!

We spotted the advert for Scallop Shack at Calanais Stone Circle on a quiet Sunday out on Lewis - advertising scallops 24/7! So we went - and sure enough you can buy big, fat, delicious scallops in whatever number you wish. With an honesty box to ensure that you can buy them whenever you want to - this is truly 24/7!! We pan fried ours briefly with a little smoked paprika and served with a balsamic dressing and lemon. Excellent!!
