Fun place to try. All the food was good. We had a variety of things and were happy. They brought the kids food out first and that was great! The burger didn't come with lettuce and tomato and could have been seasoned a bit better but it was fine. The chips were AWESOME! It was a bit pricey. I wanted to try their pizza but it was too much for this visit.
When I was a kid, the Saloon pizza was the ultimate treat. This visit, my brother and I branched out and tried the Italian Salad with crispy chicken and the chicken nachos. They were amazing! Good portions for the price, I love the local historical pics on the walls too. I've had the (new bldg) pizza before, I thought it was great to eat there hot and fresh, but it didn't reheat well at home in the air fryer oven, it didn't hold its flavor well and the sauce pretty much all absorbs into the crust. So for myself? I'd order a pie I could enjoy there and not worry about leftovers and I'd be happy as a clam.
This was our first time we ate there and the new look was amazing. I had the chicken ceasar wrap and could not eat it all. Would recommend this with the fries ???????? seen several people having the pizza and it looked really good.
We went earlier in the evening on a Saturday, around 345pm-4pm and were seated right away. As it got later it started getting busier for them and customers were waiting to be seated.
Ordered pizza; Philly cheesesteak and one with pepperoni and sausage. The pizza was excellent! Great crisp to the crust, wonderful flavor. It was recommended getting the alfredo sauce on the Philly cheesesteak pizza the next time we try it.
Ordered an appetizer that was a mixture of fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers.
Decent kids menu! My son got the Stetson Sliders, which came with 1 slider and a side of fries. The menu has a misprint when it says "sliders" as only 1 slider comes with it. We ordered a second slider as my son was still hungry after eating 1 slider.
There was an employee that went around to the tables that had kids and offered a piece of candy from a huge bucket. This was a nice gesture and my son loved it!
Everything about our visit would make us want to come back again!
Opening week so a couple speed bumps and they were slammed with customers. Kind of loud inside, hard to hear the people at your table, but again, it was packed! The staff still getting up to speed on menu and such but still a good experience. And the pizza is awesome! I'll be back!
Editing to add star after visiting again on Valentine's Day. Food is still awesome, my pizza was great and tried a bite of my wife's BBQ pork sandwich...delicious! Service is 100 percent more efficient and just as friendly as before! It may be a bit more expensive than some other pizza places but you get your money's worth when you find in here at the Saloon!
We went to The Saloon for dinner the night before my daughter's graduation from BDNCC. Though they were quite busy the wait time was very reasonable and once seated Sailor took top notch care of us and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. Definitely a place to try out if you haven't been there before.
What a nice newly remodeled restaurant. Great big windows allow for light to shine in but tinted windows do not blind you. The pizza and wings are amazing as well as the burgers and side items. We had excellent service this second visit from Claire. She offered suggestions and was on top of our water, napkins and overall was 5 star!
Highly recommend! Great food and atmosphere that’s appropriate for all ages. Friendly servers. A very positive experience each time we’ve been there. Can also accommodate large groups.
