My family and I stopped in for a few drinks to get out of the sun for a bit while visiting the pier and boardwalk.
The outdoor bar was the perfect place to rest and refresh for a bit. The breeze coming off the ocean was just what we needed!
Our bartender (and I am SO sorry I didn't get his name) took very good care of us. We chatted briefly about the local brews on tap, and I had a couple of wonderful glasses of beer.
My wife and daughter decided to order a snack of some snow crab legs, which they said were perfect and sweet and delicious.
A band was setting up to play while we were there, but we left before they started.
We had a wonderful respite at The Roof, and recommend stopping by for a drink or a beverage while you enjoy the breeze, the view, and the experience.
THANK YOU again to The Roof!!! If we find ourselves in Daytona again, we'll DEFINITELY be back!!!
I got to give it to him. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. At first glance, the jambalaya looks like it wouldn’t be the best tasting dish, but it was actually very flavorful. The prices are a little bit steep for the portion size, but you’re paying for the view and ambience. It’s a great view of the beach even when it’s overcast it’s nice. Worth the visit.
Stopped for afternoon drinks and appetizers. Had several drinks all 6.50-7.50 each. Very good taste too. Food was good, you order at a window and they bring it to your seats. Views overlooking the beach are great. Be sure to stop here
We had dinner at sunset and it was spectacular! Really tasty food. Good service and great views!
The place has families of roaches living in the tables. I know most resteraunts deal with this... but come on. Your sitting down to eat and they're all over the tables near you! I'm not sure if people were unsuspecting? Or maybe it's why not many people were there? Ugh. Left my bag outside for the night in the truck bed just incase I had a hitch hiker after that. Yukko!!
There isn't service. You order at the window and they bring your food out to the table you sit at with your number they gave you. The tacos were provided plain and you added your own toppings at the toppings bar. The band was good but the drinks were weak. The veiw was awesome- im sure much better during the day! Go there for beers maybe? But anything more... do it at your own risk!
The review does not reflect on the bartender. She was wonderful and short staffed. The rooftop view is great, good selection of drinks, but I would stick to beer as the cocktails are inconsistent. We ordered the charbroil oysters to try something different. Absolutely terrible. Completely overcooked and burned. I can see that the evening party atmosphere would be good here. Bathrooms are not clean when we were there
First time, loved it! Very nice and chill spot above the ocean. Live DJ, people dancing, enjoying themselves along with their families and pet friendly. I tried the shrimp quesadilla & my partner had a long Island 10/10???????? very good.
So much potential but the server working the bar window last night completely killed it for us. Rude, acted like she didn’t want to be there and needs a course in customer service 101. Unless they change management or ownership, we definitely won’t be back. It’s sad that one employee can kill the entire experience for a group group of people.
