Cute little cafe with a dog friendly, covered, outdoor seating area. We were offered seats cushions and blankets, which was much appreciated. The afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Lovely little tea room. Friendly staff, great food, lovely big pot of tea in China tea cups. The cakes were lovely. You can sit inside or out by the lovely little lake. Plenty of parking.
We went this time for my husband's birthday and had the Christmas Cream Tea, delicious ????. The staff were busy but we couldn't fault the service.
This is a quaint tearoom with lovely views and great service.
I opted for one of todays specials, which was chicken and greek salad wrap. It was very nice, as was the americano coffee I had with it. My bill came to £10.30, which is comparable with other cafes in the general area.
It is very cycle friendly with plenty of facilities and space to secure your bike. It is also a dog friendly tearoom.
If you visit on a road bike, just be careful as the entrance road to the tearoom, which is about 30m long, is covered in loose stones.
The car park has plenty of spaces. However, there are a few to many large potholes.
I wouldn't let the road and carpark put you off as it is a great tearoom and well worth a visit.
What an absolute gem of a place, from the Red Telephone box that marks the entrance on the main road to the quaint cabin style tea room with it's log burner & Chesterfield chairs.
The pot of tea for 2 was perfect in it's Chiba Cups, the toasties were excellent & very tasty. Really enjoyed the Potato & Leek soup too.
The cake & brownies with Ice Cream really filled the gap.
The service was warm & welcoming too & we were well looked after.
We were extremely impressed & will return many times.
Thankyou for a lovely experience today.
Lovely little cafe tucked away in a picturesque spot. Happened upon it by accident but had a lovely cuppa and tea cake sat outside by the pond. Staff were very friendly and accommodating of my 4 year old, giving him a pot of marshmallows and a kids cup for his orange juice.
Lovely tearoom. Sit inside or out. All food freshly made. Great choice on the menu. Gluten free and Dairy free options too. Homemade cakes. Staff are lovely. Fab view of the pond and may spot the odd sheep too. Will definitely be returning.
Cute little cafe with friendly staff. They do sandwiches, cakes, afternoon tea, have dairy free milks and gluten free options. And a lovely outdoor area. Will be coming back!
15 of us went today for afternoon tea, a mother's and daughters outing, excellent food and service, a good time was had by all, would recommend to anyone,????
