Stopped here for lunch/light snack. I had a lincolnshire sausage sandwich with seeded bread. I advised that I was cow dairy intolerant, so I missed out on the coleslaw. The side salad and extra chips were good too. Was advised there could be a 20-minute delay, but we didn't wait that long.
We had a delicious Sunday lunch today with my (rather large) family. The food was fantastic - well cooked, local produce and a good price. The desserts were to die for too! Staff were friendly and attentive; can't ask much more.
Good pub, pool table with contactless reader, only 50p a game.
Dropped in for a evening meal with the family, honestly can't compliment the food enough! Fresh, handmade, hearty portions of really good pub food. Every dish we had was cooked to perfection, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and the prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend a visit and will definitely return again!
Group of 8 of us looking for food, was fairly close to the cut off point for food but staff were very friendly and reassured us it was all good to order. When the food arrived it was all homemade and not microwaved. All the food we had was excellent and the chips were especially good! Would definitely come back!

The staff were friendly & welcoming. The pub so clean & fresh was a pleasure to sit & wait for my food.
The food was so good, roast chicken baguettes with sides of salad & crisps, huge portions, amazing value for money & very tasty too ! Look forward to our next lunchtime treat!
A nice spot for a drink or two, seems popular with locals and visitors. Very friendly service, good selection of drinks including cocktails and pizza ???? every Friday evening.
Mediocre food quality and main reason I deduct one ????
A great pub, great barman who keeps the place very clean. Good beer and overlooks the market place.
