Amazing lunch today. We booked a table for my mums birthday. Our waiter Vasilis wished her happy birthday on our arrival which was nice. He also recommended a special drink for her to try.
The food was amazing we had popcorn halloumi with honey to stay absolutely gorgeous. Dips and bread. Chicken skewers for mains with rice salad and bread and we also had the meatballs very nice indeed.
Thankyou Vasilis for making our experience memorable and thanks to the chefs for amazing food.
Booked here for a late lunch on a Saturday. From start to finish, service was faultless, staff attentive, polite and chatty.
We had 6 selections of meze for the both of us, chicken wings, meatballs, calamari, prawns, chicken thigh and Greek salad. Every dish was fresh, flavoursome and just perfect.
Our first visit was a very enjoyable and memorable experience, we'll return very soon.
What a brilliant greek restaurant! Right in the middle of town, it's so much bigger on the inside than it looks, and it's clean and bright.
The menu is very varied, with so many delicious looking options ranging from mezze to souvlaki, and a dessert menu with about 12 options!
I had the chicken souvlaki with tzatziki sauce, which was huge and very tasty. Well cooked, and much bigger than I was expecting.
The dessert was a custard filo pastry with cinnamon dusting, and a vanilla and cinnamon ice cream which was probably one of the nicest desserts I've ever had anywhere.
100% will be coming back again.

The staff here were so friendly, especially Vas, who made sure we had a really positive experience. The chicken souvlaki was full of flavour and was cooked perfectly. Service was incredibly quick, and dishes arrived shortly after we placed our orders.
We went for a family meal. The atmosphere was very relaxed with great service.
The food fantastic too. I love octopus but rarely see it on a menu so had to try it. So glad I did.
Afterwards I had a lovely espresso to finish.
I am Greek myself and this was one of my worst experience ever! We ordered 2 Greek salads and 3 chicken monastiraki and one wrap and they brought us children meals (see photo). Absolutely disgraceful for the Greek cuisine. We were charged £90 plus £10 service charge. I asked them to immediately take off the service charge and they had the audacity to argue with us about it. In the end we had to go and eat again elsewhere and spent more money. Disgusting!
Was a pleasure to have a dining experience at TRG in Liverpool.
Staff was smiling and friendly, and we were rapidly served.
We tried wrapped souvlaki with pork, with chicken and with lamb....all was delicious and very tasty. Bravo ????
Member of staff was assured many times that everything was fine and if we needed something else.

Wow, recommend by a person we met in Liverpool. This eater experience was very good. Did not book, but would very popular. Visited with my wife, atmosphere great, service very good. Food very good, a of course a mythos. Will be returning, when revisting Liverpool.
