Great choice of beers/ciders, nice set up inside, lovely friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit though prices of drinks were a bit on the high side.

Unfriendly landlord, felt very unwelcome. Was overcharged for drinks and ridiculed when questioned it. Old owners were much more welcoming. Thanks to the one barmaid who rectified the issues caused by landlord. Won’t be back in a hurry.
Love this place....Fabulous Ales and beers..great local stout...a refreshing change from the standard Guinness...no TVs... cash only!
How an English pub should be! Friendly staff!! Visit this place.. it isn't an old man's pub that time forgot either. It has a great appeal and vibe that should see this place vibrant at the weekends too!
Nice local pub with good Guinness, I particularly like the covered outside area. Selection of drinks and spirits is pretty basic and they don't do food apart from a happy hour type of affair where they have dishes out at the bar. Loud retro live music on Fridays is also a regular fixture.
Not as good as it used to be. Attracting the wrong kind of person.
