Absolutely loved this place, a hidden gem! Brie and cranberry baguette was great value and contained so much filling!! Hubby enjoyed his BLT very much too. The ladies serving were so welcoming and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a nicer lunch
Visited here before heading home on a Monday morning following a weekend break. Lovely, very traditional, cafe. As authentic as it gets, with the owner cooking all breakfasts to order and serving generously-sized portions on hot plates. Great food, friendly service.
Had planned to go to Thorns Coffee Lounge (again) but it was shut, despite them confirming on Google Maps just a few weeks earlier that they were open. Although their offerings may be slightly more sophisticated, we’re very happy that we found The Priory.
The large English Breakfast was great value and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

On a cold autumn morning, there's no better start than a hearty breakfast and this is exactly what you'll find here! Freshly cooked and served on hot plates by lovely staff, this scrumptious fare was just what we needed.
Highly recommended if you're in the area.
