Booked for food and drinks after recommendation. Fab staff, service and food. The views are amazing and the kids play area is perfect! We’ll be returning soon ????||The pizza oven outside makes it that little more rustic and as if you’re on holiday. Laid back relaxed atmosphere!
Stayed in one on the caravans for 3 nights. Really impressed with location fabulous views& everything you could need supplied including free bottle of wine!! Ate at the pub twice food was delicious & service very friendly & efficient. Live music on at weekend which was brilliant. Took advantage of 2 for 1 offer on excellent cocktails. Would highly recommend this place couldn’t fault it at all.
I would highly recommend this pub which is now under new management. The overall impression is excellent, from the parking areas, one of which has at least 4 electric car charging bays to the horse sculpture at the front.
Internally the place is spacious with a modern interior, and is immaculately clean.
Although we didn't dine here the menu was excellent and we will return here to eat, my husband wants to try the tomahawk steak which comes with 3 side dishes and a bottle of house wine.
Excellent food at reasonable prices. Staff really friendly and helpful. We had a really good meal. It feels a bit harsh not giving 5*, but...
For me the ambiance isn't quite right for the location. We came expecting a proper cosy, friendly, quirky local pub, and it's just all a bit too suave with expensive drinks, as if it were on a chic high street. I'd rather it were a bit more down to earth, a bit more characterful.
It is really good, just could be better!
We came over from northern ireland to visit family, so decided to book in for a meal on Thursday past, They had on an open mic night that night, (very entertaining) well I can't say enough to praise them, Absolutely stunning building inside and out! ???? The staff were genuinely friendly and the manageress was a lovely lady, and the food!! It was delicious, very flavourful, haven't had such a beautiful meal in a long time, we will definitely return A*
Staff very friendly and welcoming! The little extra touches such as water on the table and a colouring competition for the children make all the difference.
The best fish & chips we've had in a long time. We will definitely go back.
We drove past here and it grabbed our attention, we looked at the website and booked it for our sons birthday, we were in the area for a few days. It didn't disappoint, lovely food, lovely place, light, rustic, it just felt nice to be there. The lady that welcomed us was lovely, friendly to our children making them feel relaxed and was knowledgeable about the food and the area and told us the history of the place. Definitely worth a visit, it also had a nice play area.
What a fantastic find...We went in to have a drink on Friday night and book a table for Saturday a great band playing (Drifting Back)
Food was excellent on Saturday so booked again for Sunday again the food was great and live music again.
The staff are so friendly and can not do enough for you..The manager Mandy was so accommodating and she bent over backwards to look after us. such a lovely lady..
Will definitely be back next time we are back in Northumberland.
Dog friendly and real fire is a bonus
