Had a single Tavern Burrger with fries and it was great! The atmosphere was clean and nice. It has an atmosphere of a place up north like New England. The price of the foods and drinks are reasonable enough. Above all, the service is great too. I can’t think of anything negative to say about it.

Family and I visited The Place for dinner on a Thursday evening. Dinner was really good. I’ll definitely return.
This was my fourth visit. First time, A/C was out, second time service was very slow, third time, I walked out 40 minutes after ordering food without receiving any food. This time, there was a new manager. I was seated in the booth directly in front of the server station. The server was day 2 on the job. I ordered meatloaf which is served with a regular side. When ordering, I asked if I could get a premiere side AND if there would be a $1 upcharge (the price difference between a regular side and a premiere one. I was told YES. The manager was standing right behind me listening when I asked about the $1. The food was good. The bill came and I was charged an additional $2.50 instead of $1.
I spoke with the manager and he said the server was new and the system just processes the additional $2.50. I explained that I asked specifically about the upcharge when ordering and I was told $1. He said he wished the upcharge was stated on the menu, the server was new, and he might could discount the ticket some. Then he asked if I wanted him to or if it was ok. What kind of question is that?? He should have not hesitated to correct the entire situation by charging only the $1 upcharge and then assuring me he would train the staff correctly. Instead, he made me decide and it wasn’t about the $1 as much as I asked and was told incorrectly and it wasn’t fixed. Not a way to keep customers!
Sunday pre-church rush lunch done right. Service was wonderful, atmosphere was not overwhelming for the time of day. In a word - comfortable. While the food took a bit longer to arrive to the table than expected, it was well worth the wait. 10/10 would eat here again!

The Place was down and going up and going down again. The owner can’t keep anyone because he only cares about himself and his stupid HR lady that lives in Tampa, who lies. They don’t care about the people who work in his restaurant everyday. People want entertainment, good service, good food, good alcohol and drinks, and a great management and Ownership. And when there is no one in the restaurant 6 days a week and your open until 2 am and your kitchen staff won’t stay to cook and you lie to your manager, and your staff lies more than than tell the truth, there is a huge problem. This Place is terrible. No entertainment and always out of alcohol and lying to your staff is no way to run a business.
We eat here weekly and it’s the best food in town by far, friendly staff, and it’s super clean. The hamburgers and fries are amazing and the grouper on Friday is wonderful. Actually every meal (nice variety) is very good. Don’t change and thank you chef!
I guess they've been there a while, but we just found The Place. Had a great dinner, reasonably priced, cool atmosphere. The patio was perfect for a warm spring evening. Service was exceptional...thank you Calie! Hope I spelled that right....
Will be going back for sure.
