Best KPortal Reviews
This is the epitome of a hole in the wall restaurant. However, I would not come for the atmosphere, I would come for the food. The sandwiches are large and full of flavor. They have large portions of freshly sliced roast beef and freshly sautéed mushrooms and peppers. It is all made to order. The sandwiches come in many lengths. The fries are homemade and come with fry sauce. Definitely will be going back again.
It's not pretty to look at but the food is pretty tasty, I'm pretty sure a couple guys who work the register are stoned lol but they're nice and the food is fresh and hot.
I feel like the meat is usually a little dry here. The sandwiches are pretty solid. The fries are far below average. The max and cheese bites are amazing though.
Their Philly steak is so delicious! The place looks a bit ghetto but the atmosphere is good and their services is great. Their fried mushrooms are tasty as well. I will definitely come back to try other steaks.
This was hands down the best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. And I love pastrami sandwiches. I got the pastrami with provolone and all the garnishes—onions, peppers, pickles, lettuce. It was so unbelievably tasty. The cashier recommended I eat it with the au jus sauce which was an amazing recommendation. Do NOT hesitate to eat here. Atmosphere is simple, lowkey, fun…love this place. Will be returning.
Meat filled cheesesteak deliciousness! No skimping on meat here. A great value! Nearly a true Philadelphian steak, but was missing the whiz. Otherwise this is our go to place for an authentic cheese steak packed with loads of beef! Meatball was also tasty. We'll be back!
Down to earth little restaurant. Love the easy going fun loving attitude that permeates the environment. Had the Philadelphian and the Phili burger with pastrami. Both excellent sandwiches. The fries and onion rings were good too. Loved the fact that the onion rings had the texture of a chewy donut. Not for everyone but I am having them again.
Had the Philly sandwich and it was good! The bread was very fresh and all the other ingredients were along the same lines. It's a little irksome that they charge separately for condiments but it is what it is. The fries, however, are a true disappointment! They obviously use the same oil to fry with throughout the day resulting in soggy, brown fries that also have that distinct "old oil" flavor. The sandwich, however, did save the day, so bottom line is stick with the sandwiches and avoid the fries.
