Coffee and cake stop in Elie. Marvellous bakery goods served by a really friendly lady. The pavilion is situated beside tennis courts and is very close to the golf clubhouse. It is 5 mins walk to glorious Elie beach
We didn't look at the main menu as we were having dinner in Dunfermline later in the evening
This was a very pleasant
simple coffee and cake stop before a long walk on Elie's amazing beaches which were virtually deserted today. Lucky us, had whole place to ourselves. Won't be like that in summer when it can be very busy.????
Very nice welcome from staff who fitted our group in at a busy lunchtime in Easter holidays. Good selection of food so the kids were happy. Also, thanks to guy in golf shop who pointed us to access ramp and said to cafe staff.
The Full Scottish breakfast I recently enjoyed was a symphony of flavors. The hearty combination of eggs, bacon, sausages, and grilled tomatoes provided a savory start to the day. The baked beans added a comforting touch, while the buttered toast and black tea complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, a delightful and satisfying breakfast experience.
Great place to eat in Elie and brilliant value for money. There were plenty of options on the menu, but I went for a sandwich and Cullen Skink and a side of chips. The soup was delicious, packed with fish and potatoes, and the side of chips was huge, but great crispy, well cooked fries. Excellent, pleasant service from the young lads on the counter. If you are in Elie, pay the Pavilion a visit.
Sorry to say that to this place hasn't lived up to previous reviews. Although now I see the more recent views I understand. Very pricey for a pretty poor breakfast, left some of it on the plate. It's always telling when the staff don't ask how it was... Sorry.
Rocked up not long before they stopped serving and were most welcoming. Great menu, Great service, Great value. Will be back.
Very nice coffee, served by a lovely young man, and a lady. Very clean, and tables were wiped down quickly. Owners may want to "have a word" with loud people yelling into their phones, as it completely spoiled the idea of having a relaxing cup of coffee.
Nice location, by the sports club and golf course, short walk to the beach.
The food was overly greasy, bland and disappointing. The cafe overlooks a tennis court, which is a shame because it is the worst view from a pretty part of Fife. The staff was friendly and helpful.
