Always had great service from Eli and Dani, I always ask for extra salad in my rolls which are fresh and tasty.
Both are very chatty and engaging when I am at the bakery, which is pretty much everyday.
Well worth a visit, Great local bakery.
So unsanitary I had to walk out. I went in to get an egg mayo hun but I could see the older white lady in the back picking her nose. Silly of me to think she would then wash her hands, but she proceeded to do and get a bun to make the sandwich. I nearly vomited!! Walked straight out. SO UNSANITARY!
What a shame , the food is better than it used to be, however they now have what looks like the most miserable and angry staff you could find, I.they look like mother and daughter, sucking lemons comes to mind ,if you wish to have a good day don't walk in this shop , because there bad bad energy will suck the life out of you just by being near them
Excellent selection of sandwiches with staple British fillings: any combination of ham, cheese, pickle, salad, egg you may desire. Extremely generous portions and thick cut meats and cheeses really give an edge over mass produced supermarket sandwiches.
Good choice of breads with cheese topped bap being my favourite.
Good value in my opinion (£2.00-3.50 depending on filling).
Recently refurbished, this cute little bakery has been around for many, many years.
The fact it's kept its daily supply of baked goods and sandwiches nice and simple, gives it a traditionally English feel.
You won't find anything too over the top, or flamboyant, however you will find nicely filled rolls, hot pies, iced cakes and buns, and of course fresh bread!
The corned beef and red onion roll is my favourite classic!
Good quality rolls & bread at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended.
Rude staff ask for a chicken pasty get a Jamaican patty then tells me it like chicken. The last few year this bakery has gone from bad to worse
Great place, very welcoming and always make everything fresh. The sandwiches are great and so are the pizza’s.
