The Oyster Pub has become my go-to when I need to catch a game on TV. Packed on Sundays for NFL games with fans for every team. Wednesday night I stopped at 3 bars that all have multiple TVs trying to catch the Timberwolves game. None of them had the game on. Rather than ask them to change a channel, I figure if they don't have the game on then that's not my place. I knew that my fourth stop would have it as I headed for the Oyster. Sure enough, not only one some TVs (along with NHL playoffs), but the NBA sound was on the speakers. I had nachos and a beer and watched the Wolves lose. Good beer selection, decent food, and good food specials during NFL games.
Our first time here and it was delicious. Definitely worth the walk! Our bartender/server Joe was super cool. Very helpful with good recommendations and made sure we had an awesome experience. Eating at the bar felt very personal so I'm glad we chose to do that. The other bartenders were super helpful too. The food is so good!! Our group of 3 shared like 7 different things and everything was great. Coming back tomorrow.
This place is a gem. Definitely have to visit. You'll love the food for sure and right on near the shore. A short walk or even shorter drive to the main entrance of the boardwalk.
One of my all time favorite places! Abby was a great server and the food was amazing. Oysters were fresh and nice sized.
I didn’t get the oysters, so I can’t speak on that. Friends had them & loved them. I had the Mahi Mahi & it was dry. The server acted like she didn’t want to be at work, but I think she was shorthanded. Once another lady stepped in, things got done a lot faster. Overall, not a bad place. Beer is cold & game room is great.
This was a sports bar kinda of establishment. My wife had eaten there previously and enjoyed it.
The peel and eat shrimp are great paired with their French fries. The fries were cooked to perfection. The small clam chowder was okay. I'm not a real big fan but thought I'd give it a try. We split a dozen oysters in the half shell. This satisfied my wifes craving for awhile. A bit in the pricier side.
Our waitress, Sunshine was terrific. She greeted us at the door and took our orders quickly. Very friendly and out going.
Stop in for a bite, you won't be disappointed.
First timer and I was not disappointed. Excellent service and the food was amazing, I had the chargrilled oysters and peel and eat shrimp. The oysters were on point and simply fantastic.
It was an amazing experience! Jess was our server. She was very attentive, she suggested great Rum drinks. We order a dozen and a half of raw oysters and 10 hot wings. Everything was great. We sat at the game room and played for a bit.
