Situated on the corner opposite The Landgate. Great little place to drink with a layed back relaxed atmosphere. It has a large selection of bottled beers with Harvey's well represented. It also has a selection of wines and Adhams cider, Guinness & Birra Morretti on drought. The other drought is my personal favourite Beavertown Gamma Ray a excellent pint.
The venue has comfortable seats and art available for sale by local artist Nicola Hill. The subject matter is Pigeons and the medium is Alcohol ink. If you're lucky you may meet the artist enjoying a beverage.
Well worth a visit.
Friendly and chilled atmosphere. Plenty of drinks to chose from. Friendly and charming owner. Loved the interior design and music. Appears to be loved by both locals and visitors alike.
Small but lovely location in Rye near the walls. Slightly off the beaten track but a delight.

We had one drink here and the atmosphere was uninviting from the moment we walked in the door. The two female staff behind the bar were unfriendly, unwelcoming and I felt judged throughout. There was music playing but no jovial atmosphere which can be found in 95% of bars. This is the first bad review I’ve written as it’s not my thing to slate businesses, but this was a particularly bad experience I felt I had to share.
This rating is for the blonde barmaid. Very unfriendly, only interested in dancing with her regulars, and ignored us trying to buy a round of drinks at last orders before stopping dancing to inform us that we were too late. She alone ruined the experience, won't be returning.
I have visited this place nearly a year ago but loved it so much that I haven't forgotten to put a review on. Sometimes a great customer service and polite human gesture is something will stay in your heart forever, This is the place where I felt welcomed unconditionally. Very friendly stuffs and their customers as well. They helped us to chose a local ale to try and we loved it. I would love to go again and again.
Very cute little pub. Ultra friendly. Good variety of drinks. We really enjoyed our Tequila and Disaronno. There was live music on when we arrived. Simon is a fab landlord with a great character. Really hope this pub does well.
