Had a burger and chips a couple weeks back and I can’t fault the burger, it was absolutely delicious, as was the coleslaw that came with it. The salad was strange as it was comprised of pickle, lettuce and peppers. The chips were terrible but that’s what I’d sometimes expect when going to a pub. The price was a bit on the expensive side at, but the burger makes it almost worth it.
The desert wasn’t great, the brownie was very dry without much taste, though the ice cream was delicious, I had mint choc chip.
The service is 100% top notch, can not fault it at all, staff members seem to be bilingual and very friendly and welcoming, always ready to lend a helping hand.
The pub itself is very nice, and warm, and has a homely feel to it. The ladies toilets are also very clean and smell very nice.
overall 4/5 would definitely recommend.
apologies for the half eaten burger pic ????
Lovely little pub. Nice food at a good price. The particular night we went was quiet so we got served relatively quick. Some issues with a beer pump caused a minor interruption but overall a really good experience
Had a really nice meal here. Shoulder of lamb is huge so take a big appetite with you!
Amazing food & service, really great lamb. Fish & chips is also great, nice desserts too!
This is a proper pub with lots of history on display. It was very quiet when we were there due to time of day. This pub has a food menu but we didn't eat here
When ordering food, the staff were very helpful. The food arrived quickly and was delicious and well presented.
Shame we were rushing for the train otherwise would have stayed longer for other dishes and more drinks, even chill in the beer garden.
But they were very helpful and gave us the fastest food option. Had fish and chips which came with good amount of tartare sauce and mushy peas. I had a lovely Snowdon Craft IPA. Both of which I forgot to photograph because we were thirsty from a weekend camp & hike and too hungry whilst rushing for the train.
Love the decor and pictures dotted around. Worth a visit it you venture to Wales!
Exquisite food, very nice location. Parking and access for disable people. Plenty of places for children to run around.
Beautiful option to drive or walk to the top of the mountain
