We were recommended to book, for sunday lunch, so very glad we did.|The 5 roast options were excellent and great value , £10-£11.|The plates arrived complete with 7 vegetables, parsnip crisps, yorkshire pud, complete with gravey...and sauces, a huge plate ful! Both turkey and beef meats were tender and thickly sliced.|I have never seen such large desserts, if you had room for one. Again a great selection. ||A nice atmosphere too.
Amazing food and amazing service. Food is unbelievable! They cater to all dietary requirements . Staff are so friendly and welcoming it’s a pleasure to attend. Recommend everyone to come and try! Best booking a table as they get so busy! You won’t regret it.
Had a fab Christmas Dinner,everything freshly cooked and plenty on my plate. Staff friendly and helpful, we had cocktails which were in large glasses,all prices were very reasonable. Recommended to all who want a hearty home cooked meal.
Visited last night for Christmas Fayre and was not disappointed.. it was fabulous.|Service friendly, atmosphere welcoming and food excellent.. we both had Turkey roast with all the trimmings (which I highly recommend) followed by Roulade and profiteroles.. delicious
First time visiting just popped in for a quick sit in the warm,Yong lady behind the bars such a pleasant girl warm cosy atmosphere and apparently the food is amazing so will be trying that soon,beautiful surroundings looking onto the prom.
Just had a Sunday lunch. There was a very big party of us and all got their meals within minutes. You have to book it gets so busy!
Booked for Sunday lunch. Huge portions for price! Desserts were absolutely lush. Staff were on the ball with quick and friendly service. Only thing to fault were the drinks asked for pint of lemonade and got a tiny bottle of schwepps with a pint glass!
Great pub, good beer garden. Very dog friendly and top quality pints. Gutted we missed the food serving time on Saturday of between 12-3 but there's always next time
