Traveling through the area with my wife and kids and had booked a room here before hand knowing we would need a place to stay overnight. We arrived around 2pm and we were told the room wasn’t ready for us yet so we went down the road to grab pizza at the Lost Frenchman (DELICIOUS FOOD and very friendly staff). We went back to the motel and the parking lot was full of work vehicles and people unloading their work trucks. Made me nervous that this was going to be a loud rowdy night, but I was completely wrong. We went into the room, Room 101, and we were shocked at how spacious the room was! It was cleaned very well and we knew we were going to rest easy after a full day of driving. We heard no one the entire night. We did need to ask for extra towels at there were only 2 in the room, but 4 of us. One towel already in the room was stained so we asked for a new one as well. Staff was nice. We would recommend!
the best you can ask for at a low rate. they do not have complimentary breakfast so there is no reason to jack up the prices. the rooms are clean and the staff is so kind and helpful. There dogs make sure to say hello to you. but not to fear there like teddy bears. i couldn't have asked for a better place. not a corporate place. just a real place.
Spent 3 nights here at the end of February, really happy with the stay. Rooms were clean, smelled good, and the gentleman who checked me in seems like a good dude. There’s a gas station and 3 restaurants easily within walking distance. Fairly close to some good trails in the Humboldt Park, too. Overall really happy with the value.
one of the few places where inside actually looks *better* than the outside. cozy spot, arrived late without while passing thru and no issues, away from the hwy noise too.

I had a fantastic night stay here. The rooms are very nicely decorated and they have thought about some things that other hotels overlook, such as ‘pull’ sign above the shower tap (it might seem simple, but our showers turn on differently overseas) and having the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on the wall (less wasteful and nicer products than the bar-kind).
The room was very clean and comfortable and the wifi worked great. I had the best sleep there - just what I needed on my road trip.
I stayed here for a week and it was the experience of a lifetime beautiful view when you wake up in the morning of the mountains and the management and housekeepers were absolutely amazing every single day they would check on us and make sure that we didn't need anything and pointed Us in the right direction of a lot of local hot spots here that me and my wife found really relaxing come stay here 5 out of 5
This place was so perfect for us! We’ve been driving since northern WA near the Canada border and after a long day exploring the Redwoods, we decided to find the nearest place to settle for the night. So glad we stumbled upon here! Barbara was phenomenal and so accommodating for us and our pets. Extremely pet friendly hotel and a very reasonable $20 pet fee, we even met Barbara’s dog Arlo, who does a great job helping protect the property. He’s a 10/10 good boy! This hotel was by far the best one we’ve stayed at while on this trip, the room was cozy and so affordable for the location! Would highly recommend staying here, you’ll be safe and taken care of :)
