We had the beef and wonton noodles. Noodles were great and crunchy. Wontons were a great size. Beef broth was flavoful, a tad on the saltier side. Prices were fair. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Overall we enjoyed the noodles here. We usually come here for the chicken for take out.
“We absolutely love coming here for some authentic Cantonese food! The pork ribs are fantastic - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The porridge is delightful, with just the right amount of seasoning to make it tasty without being overwhelming. And let’s not forget the salty fried rice, it’s absolutely heavenly! The combination of flavors in the dish is simply amazing. The overall dining experience is always top-notch, and we can’t wait to visit again for more delicious noodles and mouthwatering dishes!”
In the past, we came from time to time for their breakfast after morning tennis game. They have the worst wait staff. It seems the waitresses are always in bad mood. We requested to refill coffee or tea and you have to ask several times. We ordered breakfast chicken steak 9:30 in the morning were told they do not have it. We found another Cantonese restaurant several blocks away served similar breakfast. Staff are quick, eager to help and refill tea, coffee automatically didn't even need to ask. We stopped coming to this place. They do have good BBQ chicken, duck and roast pork.
Ordered fried rice and got white rice with mixed vegetables taste was awful. I was exhausted from a long drive or I would of returned it
This is my last time to visit this location - The Noodle Rowland Height regardless my family ( Cantonese) always come here to get food. However the 2 last visit there food was no longer fresh and good as before, the rice plate is still ok but all noodle went down the hill.
Last time I ordered 3 orders: stew beef soup with flat rice noodle, Shredded pork stir fried rice noodle and tomato&beef rice. The rice was good, beef was tasty and juicy. The noodle was terrible, the stir fried one each noodle broken into small piece look like broken rice, it was very very oily and soft like wet rice so we could not eat it, we ate the beef noodle which was only 3 slide of small stew beef no more, beef was almost fat and chewy. I was disappointed but then think maybe because i came at that time was late, around 7pm so their food have no more the fresh ingredients.
Today 11/3/2022 I came back around 6pm, ordered BBQ soup noodle ( BBQ duck and BBQ pork) and scramble egg with shrimp rice. We eat the noodle, all we can eat is the rice noodle but have to throw away the duck and pork. Look at the picture of the pork, I taking before dumping to trash ( the duck was dumped before pork, I forgot to take picture of it). The duck and pork are both very old one, I bet they was left over one and last at least a week in their fridge. Both of them as hard as wood bar, no way to eat them. The duck is worse, only fat and bone from the bottom part of the duck, you can see bone and skin and fat. We have not tried the rice, it is for lunch tomorrow so hope it is good otherwise I have just throw $46 to the trash bin.
I never think they are specialize in BBQ but they can give those kind of food for customers, no respect at all, it is cheating. You collect real money but you give trashy food for customers, it is not what Chinese restaurant will do. Unethical.
Always pretty busy whenever I go but their chicken is always worth the wait. Must try their chicken, cucumber, and their覽菜豆腐堡! Usually their plates comes with a free bowl of rice and their lunch special or combos comes with drink refills (milk teas/ coffee). Downside is that staffs can be rude from time to times..
My family frequently visits this restaurant. We're all very happy with all the dishes we have ordered so far. Although some servers don't speak English very well, they still try their best to accommodate us. Their Bbq and roasted duck is a must try.
It was really delicious. The food are more like Hong Kong style, really enjoy it. The portions are big as well.
