On 2/21/24, at 63-1/2 years old, I got my 1st tattoo. Lexi did my tattoo. She was friendly, informative and very kind. She also did my husband’s tattoo and his skin was sensitive to the tattooing and she told him she was going to stop, allow what she had already done to heal then finish the tattoo. She wanted to make sure it turned out good. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Lexi and Midwest tattoos to everyone considering a tattoo. They are professional, artistic and their tattoo parlor is very clean as well!
I came to my appointment with an idea and Tommy took it to the next level! I trusted his artistic eye and I'm so glad I did. My piece turned out better than I could have imagined. He was professional and fun to work with. I definitely would recommend!
If you would like a honest tattoo artist who will take his time to work with you,Tommy is the man! My brother and I made an appt (on a Saturday remind you) and he was honest,worked with us both on what we exactly wanted and went above and beyond. It was my brothers first time so he was a bit nervous on communication and tommy worked with him,and exceeded his expectations,my brother couldn't stop staring at his tattoo and commenting on how he loves it so much,and has texted multiple times saying the same thing. So thank you Tommy! I highly recommend and would love to have more of your work! Again,if you want an honest,good guys work on you,get a hold of Tommy!!!!! Can't wait to show mine off more!!!
Can't give a good review for a tattoo i tried to get and never got. I got ghosted here. I'd heard great things about this place. I can't deny the skill of the artists from other people's postings.. looks amazing, but I never got to experience it myself. My girlfriend got me a 100$ gift certificate from this place for Christmas, which i know is only enough to barely start, once I had the idea that I wanted put together and the money to back it up I went in. Had a pleasant little conversation with the lady who came to the counter and took my information and the ideas that had brought along, said they would call back in a couple days to set up a consult. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard from them, so I call in. They apparently don't have an answering machine or voice-mail set up, so after a little while the call drops. I repeat this process twice before an irritated sounding man answers the phone, says he doesn't know anything about the info I dropped off and takes a message. I do get a call back from the lady giving me a different number to try calling to discuss my tattoo ideas... only that number also didn't have a working voice-mail, and I still never recieved a call back. Two weeks later I try calling the shop again: same deal. No answering machine, nobody picks up the phone until the third try, same irritated man on the end. He says that's just the way it is. This aint my first tattoo.. i've gotten ink before, i know it's going to take a little while to draw it up and schedule to actually have it done.. But i would at least like to know i'm on the schedule for a consult. He's got my information and number, he reads it back to me. Info's right. He says they'll get back to me soon. 6 weeks later: no call. I give my girlfriend back the gift certificate and tell her to ask for a refund, they apparently refused to give her one when she went in. I can look at it 2 ways: this place stole 100$ from my girlfriend, or she paid them 100$ in the off-chance that someday down the road maybe they'd be interested in doing the job. At this point I don't even want to try work with them anymore, but here's my review as a cautionary tale.
I went to this place for all My tattoos about 7 years ago. Very talented and very affordable for me. Great people too!!!
I went in with a design idea and Dustin made it look more realistic and was honest with me about the layout of where I wanted it. Shading and eyes were very well done. Also delicate work as the skin on the under side of the arm is softer and more difficult to work with. Clean shop and considerate service. I would recommend Dustin for your tattoo needs. Thanks for a great tattoo I’ll be proud to wear.
Tommy and Shanda are amazing. Tommy did my tattoo for me, but I worked primarily with Shanda for scheduling and quoting. Both of them are incredibly talented and professional. Tommy did a very sentimental tattoo for me, and worked his magic to make all the aspects of what I wanted into the tattoo.
I will be going back to him again for more work in the future as well as my husband. And, I've already referred their shop to others because they definitely deserve it! Thanks so much, Tommy!!
I reached out to Tommy when he posted he was opening his books for January/February of 2022. I provided details in my reach-out of what I wanted (size, design, color/no-color, etc.), he reached out to me, we exchanged msgs a bit, and able to seamlessly book my appointment and dropped off my deposit to hold my spot shortly after finalizing. Tommy was genuine, motivated, and professional throughout the process! My cover up turned out absolutely AMAZING! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!
