Ginger and spring onion beef, sooo much onion and hardly any spring onions or beef! Duck in black bean sauce, hardly any edible duck, fat and skin! Yuk! And loads of onions and green papers! We will never be ordering here again! Also mushroom rice wasn't very nice either! Photo of left over onions and peppers!!! ???? ????
The food was average for a Chinese takeaway but I was charged for and given items I didn’t order on top of my existing order. Used to be very good but I’m not so sure now.
Be aware they will read your order back to you and still leave a dish out from the bag of food they give you. So check the contents of the bag they hand over or use one of the other chinese t,ke aways round the corner that do not rip you off so they can make an extre 7 pounds. Should of noticed the four out of five star hygiene rating and gone somewhere with a five star rating (how hard is it to get five starts after all)
Absolute shambles. Ordered for collection, confirmed order with lady who handed it to me and paid correct price. Got home and half of the order was completely wrong.
Phoned them and had to listen to 20 minutes of them arguing trying to blame someone else. Then was interrogated on what was in my order and told my order was right, repeatedly. When I pointed out there werent any fish dishes in what oI ordered and the (draws breath) ribs, wontons, chicken wings, chicken skewers, chips, curry sauce etc etc were missing, it was finally acknowledged they might have made a mistake (had to listen to another ten minutes of this) Was then asked to bring the food back……it was at this point I decided to write a review. Steer clear, we order based on a couple of allergens and New Orient will just chuck any old stuff at you.
The best, really good service and piping hot food
How can you call a chicken chow mien that when it has two almost invisible bits of chicken in it, just a container of noodles, not value for money at all
Ordered a meal tonight for a family occasion which I paid for by card, the person who took the order Said it would be a maximum of 1 hour. 2 hours later & a few phone calls we were still waiting. I asked them to refund my money and cancel the order, the lady on the phone said she would speak to the manager and call me back. The food then turned up and I received no phone call. This is totally unacceptable, no way to treat paying customers, I would definitely not recommend that you use this take away service.
I've had my delivery, my beef wasn't right my wife phoned in and explained they told us a replacement will be sent , we waited over an hour so I've phoned them back the two girls was laffing in the background one of them is telling me sorry we too busy the other one telling her to say an hour absolute joke, a gentleman came to the phone and said that them two are messing around and the food should be with me within 10 minutes so I'm still waiting, this will be the last time I order from there
