Never been before thought we would try really tasty Sunday lunch with beef my husband had lamb they also have Yorkshire pudding but we don't eat them and had gravy separate the only my husband meal was cool but they attended to this and came out steaming thank u so much will definitely come again , we didn't book but had reserved tables so we was able to sit at 1 of these as was booked for later ???? ☺️
Staff are friendly but not very attentive, they didn't come and clean the table until they brought out the new food and realised there was no where to put it. Atmosphere is great but the food really let it down. They got three of five orders wrong and four of us didn't enjoy the food. Roast potatoes were like rocks, chicken was dry, chips seemed like they had been picked up from a chippy half an hour ago. Wouldn't go for food, but would for a pint
Lovely place, staff great, food let it down massively.. starters were good but mains weren't great. The pie was microwaved and then all filling dumped on top so you didn't notice, glupy mess.. chips where anaemic and soft, apart from a couple of rock overcooked ones, veg was either moosh or hard and taste reminded me of hospital food.. mash potato was tepid warm.
on a positive absolutely amazing for sport tvs everywhere.. and staff where nice and friendly, just chef let the side down massively with the mains (sat 27/05/23 7.50pm)

There's only one word to describe this place and that is excellent. Food,service etc were all faultless. Cannot recommend it enough. I went to The Moss Bank not knowing what to expect but boy oh boy I was pleasantly surprised. Service with a smile and excellent food at a reasonable price was all I could as for and that is what I got.
Ate here a couple times now, food is delicious and big portions. Staff friendly and helpful. Good size car park too.
2nd time of visiting this pub when visiting family. We are from Sheffield an this pub rates in my top 5 of places to eat.
The food is delicious and portion sizes are huge.
Hoping that on our 3rd visit we can taste the pie which has been sold out each time before.
We have tried the braised steak with veg and choice of potatoes, the burger and also the scampi. All have been beautiful.
The place is clean an modern with 4 large TV screens available to watch sports on.
Each time we have been we have booked a table which is recommended as the place is always busy.
Looking forward to our next trip and visit soon.
Great food and a really nice pub inside however the food serving time says they stop at 8 well dont always expect that as ive come in to many times recently and they have stopped at either 6 or 7 which is a let down when its late kick off with the football and fancy a meal.
