The food is great. Nadine is friendly and helpful and it has a good atmosphere. La comida es muy rica. Nadine es muy amable y hay un atmósfera buena.

A fantastic find! This is a small but cosy British owned family-run cafe/bar. Nadine was extremely attentive and even anticipated our needs. There is a small terrace outside and inside in the evening, a wide screen TV showing a blazing open fire. The food was fantastic. We both had the traditional fish and chips, and I'd go so far to say it was the best I've had certainly in Spain! We will most definitely be back very soon. Thank you!
*** Update: we went back and I couldn't not order the amazing fish and chips. Just as good, if not better than the first time! My friend had the chicken burger and loved it. Great friendly service and I think they have the cleanest ladies toilet in Spain ????
Stylish settings, clean and spacious room. Attentive friendly service. We had the fish and chips which was a good sized portion, crispy light batter, creamy chips with crunchy outside and fresh mushy peas. Small menu but the hamburger at another table looked yummy. Definitely recommend.
Been in this place twice and had fish and chips which was amazing. Very friendly family run business. Very welcoming and a real care for their customers. Food is just amazing and a real treat. Not at all greasy and fish cooked to perfection. Crunchy outside and soft and flaky outside. A lovely setting facing the sea. I will always cone here if i feel homesick!

A bit of a bittersweet experience at first, as we were regulars when the bar/restaurant was originally called DANNY'S BAR, a place we enjoyed visiting regularly. We had come to Almuñécar very recently after some time away, and noticed it was now called THE LOOKOUT, checked out the reviews and duly booked a table and ordered Fish and Chips in advance of our arrival. Onto today....a great great experience, well hosted by Nadine, and fabulous fish and chips cooked by her son Lewis. This is a family run business, and you can tell they're putting their heart and soul into the adventure, and ensuring they deliver high quality food and service, and they're duly delivering on both fronts. One of the food highlights of Danny's was his fabulous fish and chips, one of the few English dishes we genuinely miss, and THE LOOKOUT has picked up the mantle and is carrying on providing a real food treat from the "Old Country"....with fish and chips this good, I wonder how much of the rest of the menu we will sample, but tasting Lewis's food I feel confident it will all be of equally good and high quality. Do yourself a favour and get on down and support this excellent family run restaurant!!!!!
