After being refused service at another restaurant because the kitchen, I guess, decides when they close (it was exactly 9:08 pm on a Tuesday and it was in plain sight that there were still tables who just got sat down and haven't gotten their orders taken yet), we decided to take a walk down Cookman Ave and ended up at this establishment. We were greeted by the hostess/waitress, Paige, and we asked, just to be sure, if they were still serving food. She said yes and she proceeded to ask us where we'd like to sit. We sat outside on the sidewalk and it was a perfect night to be out there.
My friend ordered a salmon teriyaki bowl and it was the perfect portion size. The salmon were nice and chunky, but not too much. Under the salmon was a layer of Asian salad with a tasty ginger dressing and under that was a layer of white rice.
I ordered the blackened sammy and it came with a side of waffle fries. I've never had a fish sandwich before and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Again, the portion was really nice and it was bursting with flavors. I almost felt like I wasn't even eating fish.
All in all, it was a great experience. Paige was really sweet and accommodating, from the moment we walked in till we left and it left a really great impression. I would definitely come back again.
Wow, I’ve eaten a lot of seafood in my day, but this place definitely tops it for me! A completely fresh and scratch kitchen. The menu is extremely innovative and delicious!
I thoroughly enjoyed the bao buns, and also the mussels they came in an amazing creamy sauce, with bread for dipping, absolute perfection!
I love the Aji tuna sandwich, it came with waffle fries, my absolute favorite! The drinks are also amazing as well such as the boyfriend material, trust me just get it!
This Restaurants big focus is on serving the freshest catches of the day. From the moment you step inside, you're surrounded by the sights and sounds of the ocean, with rustic wooden decor and nautical accents. The menu is constantly changing to reflect the freshest catches available, with a focus on sustainable seafood practices. 10/10 would come again
They had bloody Mary’s, they were delicious Very spicy. My husband ordered the fish tacos, I ordered the lobster roll, and we shared chicken wings. Chicken wings were delicious , fish tacos were too spicy for my husband I had the Libster Roll was delicious with a brioche roll.
I recently stopped in for lunch while hanging out in Asbury Park for the day. This restaurant is really fantastic. Everything about this place from the service, ambiance, and food was spot on. I got a nice greeting from the hostess, and my server Abby was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and Baja Tacos. Both along with my banging Ultimate Bloody Mary were very tasty. This establishment is clean and pretty large to accommodate larger crowds, and they also have an outdoor seating area. They have a decent sized menu, and everything is priced accordingly. The only issue was that one of the bathroom stalls in the ladies' room didn't have a lock on the stall door. Overall, I had a pleasant experience dining here, and I look forward to coming back in the future.
Delicious and creative! Our server helped us navigate the menu to pair the perfect dishes for us. The ‘it’ place for cocktails and shareable seafood plates or just a really chill hangout at a reasonable price point.
To partake in happy hour, sit in the bar/cocktail tables.
My friend and I go on Thursday for the Lobster Special. The food is an amazing, I have gone a few times and my best interactions were with Kira. She did an outstanding job, checking up on us enough without stopping by to frequently, always ready for a refill if we needed one, and just overall, she provided exceptional service. Only disappointment was it was too hot to sit outside, but the dining area they have looks very pleasant on a cooler day
Loved this place! Literally everything we had was sooo yummy! We wouldn’t change anything in our food! The only thing is that we came for oysters but unfortunately they were sold out by the time we came, because on Sundays from 12pm-5pm they have a special 1.50$ per oyster! So if you happen to be around, don’t lose your chance to try it!
Beautiful cozy atmosphere, it was pretty crowded on Sunday night, but our server was great and the staff is very fast to take your empty plates!
Highly recommended!
