Best KPortal Reviews
Pavna and Neeti, a team of strong and powerful women who opened this place as a joint venture. As tourist to Indianapolis, we wanted to make sure we tried authentic Indian cuisine. And when we made the decision to come to this place, let me tell you, it was the best decision. The staff is super friendly, is efficient with their service, the chef works in the kitchen herself and makes sure the taste and quality is delivered to its utmost standard. Pavna, the restaurant owner, is such a sweet person. She was personable, asked everyone at the table if they enjoyed their meal and even conversed in Punjabi which only made the experience more authentic. This place, is by far is the best Indian food I have had in years. Absolutely loved it.
To anyone visiting this town, you cannot miss this. You have to give it a try and suppprt this amazing business.
The culinary artistry at this newly discovered (at least for me) restaurant is truly impressive under the new management. Unlike the previous regime, I hadn't experienced their previous offerings, but the current team has elevated the dining experience. The food speaks volumes about their dedication and passion. I particularly relish the garlic naan for its perfect balance — not too thick, not too thin, maintaining the integrity of both doughy and crispy textures. The curries boast a delightful creaminess, nuttiness, and a rich symphony of flavors. For fellow enthusiasts of Indian cuisine, giving this place a try is highly recommended; you won't be disappointed!
This was my first time trying Indian Cuisine & it was sooo good! The owner suggested butter chicken and it did not disappoint!! Everything I tried was very flavorful, fresh & presented very nicely. Service was fast & friendly. I would come back to try more and explore new foods!
Cute little place with real good food. A little pricey but quality justifies it. My first but not last visit. I had lamb curry (not spicy as expected) green chili Naan which was a first. Good stuff and it's enough for 2-4ppl. Raita was good but different than I'm used to
Gobi Manchurian and Garlic Naan were amazing. Paneer Tikka Masala was too sweet and not spicy at all, there weren’t enough pieces of paneer and gravy was too thin and runny.
We have dined in three times now over the last month and each time, friendly and efficient service, and the food always amazing. We have had the Tikka Masala, Vindaloo, Tandoori and several appetizers. Everything can out fast and piping hot. Looking forward to our next visit and taking some friends.
Passing through town, we picked this place at random and it did not disappoint. It's located in such a pretty neighborhood. There were 2 waitresses and they both frequently checked on us. One of them, it was only her second day working and she did such a great job, very friendly. :)
As far as food, the samosas were flaky and crispy, filling has just a hint of spice. Chicken pakoras was so good, idk what seasoning they sprinkle on top but it's awesome. Chicken curry was the perfect amount of spicy, good flavor. I can't handle really spicy foods, but I will say the mild butter chicken was maybe too mild. I'd prefer that over burning my mouth, but it could have used a little kick. Still delicious though, so creamy.
Overall a great visit!
First time dining in. Ordered Vegetable Pakoras, Mango Chutney, Aloo Kulcha, Butter Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala. We were the only ones dining in but there was a constant flow of take out traffic.
FOOD IS SO SO GOOD. With each bite it was that eye opening "woah" feeling. Quality of ingredients and care of cooking was really reflected in the food and the service was super nice.
Only note of improvement would be carry out containers. Just standard three compartment foam container which was fine for most except that the butter chicken and tikka masala had a lot of sauce that made me nervous in such a loose container.
All in all absolutely loved and cannot recommend enough.
