One of the best breakfasts i have ever had and the price...... £6.50 for a full, and i mean full, english breakfast and a freshly made filter coffee. Staff were lovely and i bought a couple of homemade pies on the way out. All the cakes, pies and bread looked lovely and prices were again a snip! Unfortunately i live hundreds of miles away and only stopped in on the way to Cornwall. . Otherwise I'd be here on a very regular basis. Congratulations ladies, you're doing a magnificent job!
Shocking, unbelievably poor service. I can't remember the last time I left a poor review but we waited over an hour for an order of a small breakfast, scrambled egg and jacket potato with beans! The cafe was not busy, neither of the staff took our order for ages either AND the people that came in after us got served before us. No apologies or acknowledgement of the service shortfalls given by worker of the stag present. I hope there is a response to the review as I don't understand at all what happened. Sarah
Great little place to stop in for a coffee and pastry. The coffee is as good as you'll get, and I really like the mini apple pies. A couple of mornings I also had their full English breakfast, which was always served with everything on the plate still piping hot, which made me realize what a difference that makes. Worth every penny.
I had the absolute pleasure of finding this wonderful bakery and restaurant on a very rainy day in Cullompton. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful without hovering. The food is simply gorgeous and baked/cooked fresh daily. The quiche is out of this world. The portions incredibly generous and the prices very low, it's excellent value, in fact I would go so far as to say it's really cheap and worth of significantly higher prices. The carrot cake I had was lovely and the coffees great with cheap refills. The interior is simple, clean and comfortable and the decor is lively too. The cake & bakery or counter area where you can buy cakes, bread and sandwiches etc to take away looked smashing and really inviting. I can't recommend this wonderful bakery enough. Congratulations to the baker and thank you for such a pleasant experience.
Awesome place. Homemade on the premises. Best pies, service and coffee in town. Small and friendly. Best carrot cake I have ever had. Pulled pork and lamb pies fantastic. Get there early, she does tend to sell out quickly.
Food was very tasty with great portion sizes. I ordered something not on the menu which they arranged for me!
Also 2 meals & 2 drinks was only £15! If you're nearby, definitely stop in!
Fantastic bakery with homemade quality produce and nice seating area to enjoy a coffee with lunch. Traditional pasties are delicious and in my opinion this bakers is by far the best in the town. These local bakers always beat a chain bakery or coffee shop and this one is no exception. Quality ????
Good breakfast to start our family Saturday, served by lovely staff. I can't resist buying a couple of pasties, bread and cakes from the bakery so lunch is covered whilst we are out and about - delicious and very reasonably priced.
