OMG, what a fantabulous menu. Our server (Crystal) knows her menu, made excellent recommendations, NEVER let our drinks get low. They were busy, yet never skipped a beat. Excellent cocktails and craft beer for hubby. So good, we went back the next day. Definitely our go to in Houghton Lake.
Great food and wait staff. I had the Italian ciabatta sandwich with fries and a parrot drink. Both were delicious.
We love it here. Has something for everyone. Including boat up, a small beach, a nice outdoor area, and from the inside a balcony overlooking the lake, occasional music outside or in. Games, pool tables, lots of room. Really a very nice experience. We tend to overspend, we love the apps they offer. Especially the boneless breast tenders. Several flavors, all good. Always friendly staff. Good service too. What more can you want I ask?

Quesadilla definitely wouldn’t recommend. We had two orders and they were both the same, just bare. Basically just tortilla with very little ingredients.

This place used to be great. I know everyone is having issues with employees and hiring. Maybe they have new owners or management in the past few years.
We came for lunch. The food was okay, seems more like GFS honestly. Service was great! Love the atmosphere. We keep coming back every year in the summer even though the food doesn’t really get better. ???? Hoping it does because we probably will come back!
Always a fun stop. Good food. Cold beer. Fast, friendly service. Great stop by land or by sea - especially on Sundays for the bloody mary bar.
We have tried a lot of appetizers and sandwiches over the years. No complaints. Great burgers and the cheese curds are terrific. My personal favorite.... I have to go with the Italian - which may seem sacrilege, given Buccilli’s is just down the road.
While the service was excellent and the cook on the food was solid, this long standing restaurant truly needs an infusion of attention to detail. There is so much under-utilized + wasted space, the ambience is non-existent, the amazing charcoal, real fired cooking station is 100% not being utilized to create a destination spot and you would never know that this establishment sits on the water.
Someone needs to buy this place, renovate it and create a draw where people will drive 1 - 2 hours in every direction. ALL of the variables are in place to do so.
