Visited Left Bank for Easter brunch with my husband, and we both loved it. The service was really good. We had reservations and were, I think, the second party there, so no wait time. Our waiter was very attentive and nice, always smiling. The food was so good. I had the croque madame, and my husband had the pork belly Benny. Both satisfying and o so good. Had home fries with it, the right choice. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Cortado and mimosas, on point as well. The restaurant is charming and full of character. Will definitely be back!
Chic French brunch with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The menu clearly has dishes labeled for gluten free and vegetarian. If you prefer breakfast sandwiches, they offer a gluten free bun! I ordered the salmon salad which had a fresh citrus orange flavored dressing. The salad was fresh with a nice crisp crunch and the salmon was tender and flavorful! Would definitely go back!
Had my birthday dinner here. Hostess was very rude when we arrived. After we where seated took ten minutes before they arrived at our table. They had little knowledge of the menu and seemed to be bothered by our questions. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Menu looks great! I was with a large group with a limited menu, so a bit hard to judge the overall menu. Our food was very excellent, however mum’s coq au vin a bit tough. Loved my salad. Desserts were stellar! Hoping to return to try the onion tart and other Cordon Bleu items on the menu.
What a gem! The first thing I noticed was the delightful decor. I love orchids! Another thing that was notably delightful was the staff. They were so friendly, inviting, and attentive.
Overall, the food was delicious! Loved the latte made with Kahwa beans.
Dec. 2024 - Have to adjust my review a bit. I've been back several times since the first time. I think it's still one of my favorite places, but the service has deteriorated. I see new wait staff every time I go back. They tend to be inexperienced, which means waiting too long to have water refilled or drinks brought to the table. They're also not as happy or pleasant. I took some friends around the holidays, and our food orders were messed up. Our waiter was a young guy who didn't crack a smile once. I was embarrassed. I hope things change for the better.
This French Bistro is absolutely stunning. From the decor to the wait staff, the delicious food and impeccable wine list, all add to an atmosphere that is truly unique. Don't miss this place when visiting St Pete's, Florida! ☕????????
Edit 2: Left Bank Bistro got a new chef a month ago and the food is outstanding. We did the fixed Christmas menu and everything was delicious! This place just keeps getting better and better.
Edit: finally made it here for brunch. It's just as good as their dinner menu, if not better!
Holy moly the food and drinks here are amazing! Strongly recommend the espresso martini! The burger is fantastic. Actually, just get everything. It's all great. But also, the music, ambiance, and service are all wonderful as well. You won't regret coming here!
What a delightful find in St Pete. We had Saturday brunch and it was delicious. We started with Baked Brie, served with French bread toast and crackers, then we followed with a Crab Omelette and the Hachis de Boeuf. All were excellent. The selection of wines by the glass was excellent. Dallas was an attentive server, though a little scatterbrained and the prices were very reasonable. Price before tip was $130
