Easiest accessible local Mexican food place, with well priced food and a good patio area, very welcoming for meeting large groups or just a few friends without being rushed. Servers are seasoned workers here, all helpful and nice mannered. The place is modestly decorated and clean. And their prices reflect their attention to want to serve locals on a regular basis. No frills and great attitude. Give them your business, you won't regret having a place to go any day, any time! (Thru the last 30+ yrs Mexican food has been served here under different names, but just as good. In the summer some live music -as was decades back- would be nice to have again).
Salsa was really good, it wasn't too spicy and it wasn't bland, it was perfect for my likings. I ordered crunchy tacos, I thought I was really good, it was juicy, crunchy. It had a lot flavor. My husband ordered the beef fajita, the beef was chewy, it had a lot tomato sauce to it so, and the green bell pepper was over cook. So I gave a 3 because I was not very satisfy with the beef fajita, it was too chewy for me or my husband.
The melon Margarita was alright, that was too sweet for me.
This place has been in business for 40+ years. The best margaritas I've ever tasted...strong and balanced. The food is amazing too.
This has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. We love the staff in fact my mother and all her friends have all there Birthday lunches there and even bring cake for afterwards and whatever left over they give to the waiters . Plus they have the best margaritas in town . ????
We didn't know this place and was recommended by one of our tour guide. We went there a little late and they were able to accommodate us. The service was exceptional. I ordered the Chimichanga and it was delicious. Totally recommend Mexican restaurant if you are around Agoura Hills.
Authentic flavorful Mexican food! I was worried it would be like some joints I’ve gone to that have toned down the spice for the neighborhood. If I were a local I would be at this joint often! The jalapeño margarita, the albondigas soup, chili verde , pintos and flour tortillas made a happy girl! Spoke with a traveler from Tx who also loved it. The real deal!!
Everything was fantastic. It would have been nice to feel that the server enjoyed his job. There was nothing wrong with his service....just could have smiled or been a little more animated?
When we went they were more crowded than usual and didn’t seem prepared for it. Usually we are satisfied, especially with the drinks, but not this time.
