We had a great time hosting our coworker’s farewell party here. Staff here was great. Our bartender was awesome and served great tasting drinks that got the job done!! Chase was very accommodating and so helpful! Our party wouldn’t have been such a success without the staff and their assistance with everything! Thanks again!!!!
Friends introduced this establishment to me. I have been there 6 or 7 times now, and always a good time had. Awesome drinks, fair prices & live music. Worth note... the bartender (Lisa) is friendly, & provides quick service!

Totally dig the landing strip. Love this place it’s eight minutes from economy parking when I go to Chicago and I’m flying out of here if I’m up there a little earlier than I need to be I always stop at the landing strip. If I was flying into Chicago and had a layover I would without a doubt grab myself an Uber and take a 10 minute ride to the landing strip they have a great food , Richies sports bar is right next-door absolutely phenomenal food you might like this place so much you’ll miss your flight and it wouldn’t be all that bad. Gotta love this place on a warm summer night has an awesome outdoor patio!! Close to the airport if your looking for a quick place to grab a drink while waiting for a flight.
We had our Employee Appreciation party there on Sunday night and it was AMAZING! The bar and beer garden are gorgeous, Chase cooked an unbelievable Mexican buffet, Lisa & Angelina the bartenders were the best! Thanks to Julie for making it the easiest and best party I’ve ever thrown!!!!
No frills type of sports bar. Open concept with a rectangle bar in the middle of the room. There are some airplane motifs items in bar but look up every 30 seconds and see a plane take off from O'Hara. Monday are half off wings and the wings are breaded. Not a fan of breaded wings but Philly sliders are amazing. They are building an outside bar now which looks awesome.
I've been here a couple times now. It's one of my husband's friends favorite hangouts and I can see why.
Fun, relaxed, casual vibe. Love the outside. Nice bar outside. Staff is fast and friendly. I didn't eat, but my friends did, and said good bar food.
Heres a few things about The landing Strip Bar. It's has slot machines for those who like to gamble. There is an ATM available for the slots. There is a kitchen unfortunately closes early. So if you want some food with your liquor you might want to go earlier. There is small billiards table and also darts. They don't sell pitchers of beer. Bummer. They do have an assortment of liquors. The place is kept clean for the most part. Great place for coworkers to have a drink after work. Parking is available.
