A Long time visitor/customer. This place is iconic. Food is decent. High top chairs are quite uncomfortable.
Great place for casual dining. Normally this is a spot to hit for food. Though there are times when there is love music. When this happens, band selection has been good to get out on the dance floor. There are a couple floors here with the 2nd floor having a pizza oven, table games. Good variation on the theme with separation enough so dining on the ground level feels like a separate place.
Visited on a Friday evening. My 16 year old choose The Kirby House. The service was great, and the food was good. Definitely got a college kid hang out vibe. There was a DJ playing music (with videos) and was taking requests.
Fun location and atmosphere. I’ve been a few times and think the food is fine, nothing great. Last time we got the margarita pizza and it was very odd, wouldn’t recommend that one. Still a fun place to hit up on a summer beach day.
We go to The Kirby House a few times each summer. The atmosphere and location are great. The service is usually pretty good, and the food is usually good as well. It’s nice that they have some gluten free options and know that it’s important to those who have celiac’s. We’ll definitely be back again this summer!
A go-to place while visiting Grand Haven. The atmosphere (both inside and out) makes for a fun location, with a friendly staff, live music and great food! Even if your just swinging by and need a stack, you HAVE to try to Rosemary Fries...delicious! The last time there I also had their Chicken Burrito and fell in love. Can't go wrong with the Thia lettuce wraps either.
Best view of Lake Michigan, most romantic atmosphere in Grand Haven Michigan. Servers were extra nice, we waited for an open table upstairs to dine and watch the beautiful sunset then sat outside for drinks on the beach where the gas fireplace tables helped keep us warm. Wonderful
Great place for happy hour drinks and food. I had the lettuce chicken Thai wraps and 2 glasses of wine which cost about 35 dollars. The atmosphere is alive and vibrant and the service was great.
