If ever you vist this lovely village of Martham, pop in here and try the food, in fact if your a fish lover give the smoked Haddock on a bed of perfectly cooked mashed potatoes toped with two poached eggs.
Absolutely banging????????????????????????
Brilliant, ill be back????????????????
Had a nice pint of well kept ale. Could not see a snack menu and main meals seemed a bit pricey. There is a nice spot in the bay window with views of the green and duck pond. Large car park and clean toilets.
Just trying to call the pub but my signal is rubbish. If my mum and nan are still in the pub please pass on my happy mothers day to them both. Name's are carole and Jo batt.

Everything bad about a trip to the pub all rolled into one! Advertised as dog friendly you get told,in a garden as big as half a football pitch, that you can only go on the decking area which has two picnic tables and a 6ft hedge hiding the view to the lovely garden! Kids went on the play area but you can't watch them because you'd have to be stood on the picnic table to see over " Beeches Brook". On top of this the drinks are top whack but the insult to most people with children is the extortionate price you have to pay for a bag of crisps or snacks! Our drinks came to £ 19 and four bags of crisps took our bill up to £27!! They weren't even oversized bags of crisps either. When I questioned the bill the staff member tapped on her calculator, came to a lower price, then somehow tapped a few more numbers in and said, there you go £27. We left after one round, surprise! We've been here a week and I've never paid anything like that for drinks even when my wife was on wine when on this occasion she only had diet coke. We spoke to another family in the garden who had also bought some snacks and paid £3 for the bag. Outrageous!!!!
Nice cold pint on a warm day. We sat out the front which was a little loud because of the busy road but as we were only staying for the one it didn’t bother us. Good spot to watch the ducks in the pond opposite.
The biggest piece of fish I have ever seen with a fish and chips! And it tasted lovely too. Great staff and a duck pond across the way
Better late than never with the review... The king's Arms well and truly looked after my fisherman husband and his two friends while they were on holiday in Martham. They visited the pub every night and the food, beer and hospitality were top notch! They enjoyed freshly cooked food and a lovely warm welcome every night. They will be returning June 2023! Do not hesitate to visit this pub, I am told the landlady is a diamond!
We only stopped here due to the extremely large sign that read " food served all day, dog friendly and large beer garden" we arrived at 13.35 to be told they were just closing the kitchen, we asked how to get into the garden and were told dogs not allowed in garden only on decking. So if you said lured in under false pretences you would be correct . The staff were OK and we only had a sandwich. Does seem to be a theme locally that " Dog Friendly " means barely dog tollerant and they are not the same.
